So happy I purchased this product. I looked for value and price and I found it with this generator. I am amazed for the price that I could get a dual fuel machine. This generator will keep me out of trouble with my detached garage that is not part of my home generator system. Great buy!

I bought this several months ago to run both the pool pump if we should lose power during the winter and inside the house, the gas furnace blower and the refrigerator. I love the fact that this genset runs on either gasoline or LP! Also that it produces 240 volts (for the pump) and can be stepped down at the same time to run 120 VAC items. We have not had a weather condition requiring its use yet but have done a couple of practice runs. Great value for what it costs!

After the debacle in Houston, I decided to purchase an additional generator. We did not know how long we were going to be without power and if our old generator failed we would be in a pickle. We also found it difficult to find gas, so that is why we purchased this generator that can also use propane. After reading all the good reviews we purchased this one. It came on time. And most importantly, started up right away and is much quieter than our other generator. Not looking forward to another hurricane, but feel better going into one even better prepared.

My wife and I ordered this generator on 6/17/2021 and once we received it I was impressed. It was nicely boxed up and upon opening the box to remove the generator, I was really excited because it was a great looking generator loaded with features such as the use of gas or LPG. This generator came in hand in our times of need! Our lights went out and I was able to assemble the unit and have it up and running within 20 minutes. It powered all of our essential units needed to keep our family warm from our winter storm. Excellent and reliable product!

Because we live in Alabama in an area where we are prone to have a hurricane, we needed a generator for when the lights will go out for a few days. We found this portable generator in our price range, easy to store, and also of the dual fuel capacity that it has. Also, we can run multiple appliances off of it at the same time.

As a resident of Texas, experiencing storms is nothing new to us, but it wasn't until I had my own family that I learned how much work goes into preparing your home and keeping your family safe. Our dual fuel WGEN5300DFcv portable generator has been the saving grace of Hurricane Beryl. Luckily, my husband thought to purchase the generator before the storm hit the coast. Easy to assemble, instructions are clear and concise. When connecting the propane, it presented starting challenges, but when switching to gas, we had no issues with very easy start.

I havent tested it under a load yet, but my first concern of hard starting (since there is no electric start). was a non issue, it starts in 1 pull, and easily. Its not terribly loud either. I will update the review if anything changes. Had to write a review to get my free cover, so thats why I havent load-tested yet. tested on gas only.

Added engine oil, connected hose to propane tank, turn the switch on, open the tank port, pull started the generator easily. The noise is at reasonable level. Do not have a chance to test it under load yet. Waiting for electrician to come install the transfer switch.

We purchased this generator ahead of the 2023 hurricane season but did not have to use it right away. However, 2024 brought two hurricanes to us back to back. We are so thankful we had this generator with the dual fuel option. Gas could be hard to find and the propane is so easy to use. It certainly saved our perishable foods , gave us phone charging capabilities and fans running.
