I bought model # WGen5300DFcv, it's got 6500 watts peak power and 5300 watts running, runs on gasoline or propane. We bought it because we are in Western North Carolina near Asheville, and Hurricane Helene knocked out our power for 15 days. And this Westinghouse generator ran like a champ for 12 hours on a single tank of gas for the duration of this power outage. Performing post use/storage maintenance was easy. Nothing but praise for this open frame generator.

I like how compact this unit is and still has room for maintenance of the unit, pretty easy to do all necessary maintenance. Easy start up on both Gas and Propane,2 easy pulls. So far this unit seems solid, doing the recommended break in. My buddy's liked the unit as well, Would recommend.

Just purchased, It was an easy setup with simple easy to understand instructions. After filling the oil and fuel, it started on the first pull and ran smoothly. I purchased when a hurricane was heading towards us, but turned before approaching us, great news and I'm ready for the next one. Great buy and price

Arrived with no damage. Powers up what I need it to. I like the choices of plugs they give you. Dual fuel is a good feature. Although it doesn't seem to start on propane. Starts great on gas, then you can switch it over. Not a big deal. Still very happy with it.

I purchased this unit recently, It appears this generator is a perfect fit for my needs. I have been looking and comparing generators for the last six months to fulfill my needs. It came with everything needed, all I needed to supply was fuel. The unit started easier than previous units, I have had several in the past 30 years. I am well pleased. It is nice to have a generator made by a company that has been making generators for well over a 100 years. Ray

From my research this generator fit the bill for what I was looking for. I wanted one that ran off of LP as well as gas for the mere reason LP doesn't go bad like gas when sitting for long periods of time. I bought it to use in power outages which doesn't happen often but it does and when on the hunting property working on shooting houses.

Having a parts breakdown is really helpful for ease of maintenance. My initial impression is that it's built solid and looks like it'll live a long life. Noise is on par with similar priced generators. This is one of the few models that actually has a 250v NEMA L14-30 receptacle.

We bought this to replace an older and smaller generator. We love the electric start and the extra power this Westinghouse generator offers. It is also much quiter and smoother running. We use it for our RV and incase we lose power at home. Winter is coming and we feel sure that this generator will be ready when we need it. Thank you for a great product

Bought this generator in June but I cannot give a 5 star rating simply because it came with damaged parts and I am still waiting on some to get it serviced. I want to be able to test it already and I will come back for another review or update this one as soon as I get it up and running. I am positive the damage came from the delivery process, but I just want to get all parts so I can test it and I have been waiting too long.

We bought this generator on January 12, 2022, as we were getting ready for an ice storm to hit our area. The setup for this machine was easy and it fired right up with no problems at all. So far I'm loving our new generator. I would recommend this product to others!
