Best Generator for your money.

Our older Westinghouse generator still works but I decided to upgrade to the dual fuel option with this unit. It's running great and always cranks right up. We live in Florida and large storms constantly take out the power and sometimes at the local gas stations leaving us with no gas. Thankfully with this generator, I can take the propane tank off of my grill and power all the essentials in the house if regular gas is not available.

Great Product -Very Easy to Get Running

Packaged very well but easy to unpack. Very heavy so if you are a senior citizen I would recommend getting help unpacking and installing wheel kit. Put oil in generator, connected propane, turned choke on, turned switch on and generator started on like third pull. So for very pleased. Runs quieter than some the other brands my neighbors have. Definitely nice product. I bought it for home backup for power outages during storms etc. I feel confident it will meet my needs.

Great generator

I bought this after fighting with an older coleman for 3 days to keep it running. Don't think I'll have that problem with this one. I like that the watts shown are the running watts, unlike most other brands that fool you by giving the surge wattage in bold print.

Great Value!

I bought this generator due to Black Outs. I simply bought a tt30plug used a large cord I had from a RV and back fed the unit into my house panel flipped the main off shut off as many appliances as I could in the house (fans, lights, TVs) fired up the generator and it kept 2 refrigerators and deep freezer running works great.

Super User Friendly and Effecdtive

Bought this and installed an outlet to my breaker box for it. The 5300 easily ran my fridge, roll-out portable A/C unit, TV, and ceiling fans. Easy to switch from gas to propane. Small but mighty! So glad I bought it before our first hurricane of the season!

Simple to set up and use

I bought this earlier this week anticipating a huge winter event (still waiting for it). Right out of the box it was simple to mount the wheels and pads. I hooked mine up to propane as I have a few portable tanks around and in just a couple of pulls we were running smooth. It seems to be a great generator that is simple to use. I hope I really don’t have to find out how well it works in a snow/ice storm, but I’d recommend anyone looking for an inexpensive option for a bit of back up power give it a try!

Dual Power Source

This Westinghouse Dual Fuel Generator which uses gasoline or propane is just what we need in case of power outages on the farm. It was also purchased with our RV in mind. Stout machine with well marked controls. Instruction booklet was easily understood. A little heavier than I expected so it looks like it will last years.

Life saver!

I bought this in January 2022 and have already experienced 3 power outages since then. I like the handle which makes it easy to move around. I'm a single mom and I can easily move it around, fill it up and start it! It seemed a little intimidating at first but after watching a YouTube video I felt comfortable starting my generator. I ran my lights, refrigerator a.d aquarium with no problems. I highly recommend having one for emergencies. If you add some fuel stabilizer to the gas, you won't have issues storing it for future use.

Generally Pleased

We expect this generator to serve our purposes well and chose it because of its fuel capabilities and good online reviews. Ours, however, did arrive with shipping damage; there is virtually nothing to protect the generator during shipment other than its own cage. Westinghouse did promptly mail out replacement parts, and our generator is in working order now. We think it will be powerful enough to provide occasional emergency power at our home and are now generally pleased with our purchase, as there seem to be a lot of features for the price.

Portable Generator

Have not used it yet. Now that I have it the power probably won't go out again. This was purchased after an extended power outage but the power had come back on. You can use gas or propane, which is nice. It seems simple to use. Unfortunately though, the pull cord is not easy for a small female or small teen (with adult supervision) to get started. If I ever use it I'll re review. I'd still recommend it at this point though.
