Great Features

I also have a Westinghouse IGen that runs perfect though it only produces 120v. My well pump is 240v so living in a rural area during power failures we loose water. When I found this item I couldn't pass it up, it produces 240v and it will run on propane so I never have to worry about gasoline going bad in the carb. I put the wheels and feet on it, hooked it up to propane and it fire right up. I would recommend this unit to anyone.

Great Features

I bought this generator a couple of weeks ago and waiting for electrician to install a manual transfer switch to properly use in case of a prolonged power outage. So this review is prior to my actual usage. However, by profession I am a Director of R&D where I get to oversee design and development of numerous consumer products including portable welding generators. Will add a few preliminary comments: - I like the rolling bars on all sides as they really protect the generator. - the handle is foldable so that's a space-saver. - the engine oil filling spout is oddly placed and westinghouse engineers sure could improve it to avoid any spills. They also need to add an oil level indicator to avoid guessing. My only indication was the size of oil bottle that came with the generator. - Installing the castors is a little pain as have to tilt generator on its side to access the mounting hole. - Mine is a pull start instead of battery start. It started quickly but it is new and I worry when the generator becomes a little older and start requiring multiple pulls. In general, the design and look is very similar to some other on market but Westinghouse is a big name and that swayed my decision to purchase a portable generator rom them.

Flexible for many Situations

Purchased this Westinghouse generator as I live in Florida and need an alternate power source. I like the flexibility, having dual fuel sources, i.e. gasoline and propane, as well as its power to meet my needs. Westinghouse is a great name for great products.

Easy Start

We bought this generator because we were expecting a very hard freeze and had an incubator full of chicken eggs almost ready to hatch as well as a deep freeze full of food. So glad we had it as we were without electricity for a full week. It is duel fuel so we powered with propane. Reliable and easy to start!

great value generator

We bought this generator after much research. And are very pleased with the price and how easy it was for us to locate it on line and be able to check stock and then purchase it before a big storm was due to hit. Also the wheels make it very easy to move it around to were you need it. And we like that you can use gas or propane.

So far so good

Unit runs and has a nice selection of plugs. The process of filling the oil with the included funnel will make you feel like you’re on a hidden camera show. It’s absolutely horrible. Also, at this price point you should have an app giving you constant fuel and oil levels with alerts.

Live in Florida and bought this a year ago to have in case of power outages. This past week during Hurricane Milton was the first time I opened the box. Took about five minutes to install wheels and feet, fill up oil, gas it, and get it running. From there it worked great.

Duel fuel

Gotas my first generator was impressed that it was dual fuel. Tried to start it with propane. Would not start .when you turn the propane off then turn the machine over. It seem like it wanted to start. Turn gas on. Wouldn't start. If it was just run on propane alone I would give it five stars

Early Review

Arrived packaged well and in timely manner. Got it out of the box, set up per instructions, rolled it outside and it fired up on the very first pull. Seem to run good, but have not had a chance to put much of a load on it. Will update after our next trip.
