I purchased this over a month ago after a big wind storm knocked out the power to our house. Roughly 20 hours without power lead us to Westinghouse generators. It has not disappointed us and if there are any issues, the tech support at Westinghouse goes above and beyond for their customers.

I LIVE IN LOUISIANA, WE RUN FROM A LOT OF STORMS. WE HAVE A RV AND NOW HAVING A GENERATOR THAT USES GAS AND PROPANE WILL BE A GOD SEND. WE GO THRU TOWNS WITH OUT OF GAS SIGNS FREQUENTLY DURING STORMS. SO HAVING A/C IN 98-100 DEGREE WEATHER IS A BLESSING. WE ARE ELDERLY AND CAN'T TAKE THE HEAT LIKE WE USE TO.

This is my third Westinghouse generator. The other two are still going strong after many years of use and I like the new features on this one. No need to go with a "H' or "G" brands, Westinghouse generators are a better value and I've found them to be reliable.

So far very impressed with the initial operation of this machine. Fired up right away. I will be using only non ethanol gas. You spend a little more but this way you never have to worry about deteriorating the carburetor.I will also be using propane gas. I still need to test that. Great price, money well invested.

I have been reviewing generators for awhile and after reading reviews, price and features, I purchased this generator. I purchased this product seven days ago and finally was able to unbox today. I had no damage to the product when unpackaged. All I had to do was put on the wheels, two front rubber supports that it sits on and add oil. I attached it to propane, choked it and after three pulls it started right up. I checked the electricity output and the output was there. I hope I don't ever need it for backup power but I will sure have it if needed. The generator was actually quieter than I had thought it might be when running. Even my wife said that it was quieter than she had anticipated.

Very Excited about this product in case of any longer than expected power outages due to storms in the area at times. Also the fact that its dual fuel insures we can adequately prepare ourselves more with multiple types of fuel in advance! Excited to begin using it as necessary!

I bought this generator before Hurricane Ian hit Florida. After the hurricane I tried to start it and was unable to. I followed the starting instructions to the letter. I finally was able to start it the following day after trying for over an hour. When I had to turn it off to change propane tanks, it would not start again. I tried for 2 hours. It is ridiculous it is that difficult to start this machine. Never again will I buy a pull start generator. Beyond frustrated!

My brand new unit never started. Called tech support and after some going back and forth, they had us bring to a local shop. The shop could not get it fixed after getting 3 different parts from Westinghouse. Westinghouse then sent a new unit which arrived completed damaged and had to get returned. We finally have a new unit 2 months after initial purchase. It works on gas so far. We haven't tried the propane functionality yet. There is instruction that comes with the unit telling you to call technical support instead of returning to the store if there are any problems with the new unit. In our case, it would have saved us a lot of time and Westinghouse a lot of money (they were out the shop fee and 2 additional generators) if we just returned it to the store and bought a new one. All in all, we spent hours between calling Westinghouse, calling the shop, and travel to and from the shop. I contacted Westinghouse about any compensation for the inconvenience and have not heard back.

Just recently purchased due to the uncertainty of severe weather patterns. Although I have not had a power outage, I did test run this generator. It starts very easily and runs quietly. I tested the output & they are as specified. I like the gasoline/LP option. I always have both on hand. The RV option is also a great option. The stored handle makes it easy to move the generator to any location. I know I can count on this Westinghouse product as their products are well made and designed.

I'm heading back to my house damaged by Hurricane Ida with no electricity services. This machine powers my UPS and its not switching to battery so the power is clean enough to use it as an inverter and save some money. Much higher quality than Duromax from packaging and the manual to the paint job and outlet covers.
