I bought this in case of power outages, emergencies, etc., I'm so glad we have peace of mind. We started it up, which was simple enough, and it wasn't terribly loud, which is great. I love that it can use both gas and propane. I'll have to test it out when the power goes out to update my review about appliances, hours, etc. Otherwise, it seems great.

I just finished putting this together and starting it up. The instructions were simple and easy to understand, and it's out there running through its break-in period right now. It started on the first pull, first time! Amazing! I was expecting to have to pull the cord at least twice! Nope. I am looking forward to using it to plug my RV into here at the house, 'cuz where I park it there is no shore power. Also, since it will generate 240v, I am going to have an electrician wire a plug for my well pump, so when I lose electricity during the coming apocalypse (just kidding), I can plug it into my generator and still have access to water. Good deal, Westinghouse!

I bought this generator this month (06/14/2021) during a power outage and was able to run my deep freezer, refrigerator, 85” Sony TV and entertainment satellite system with no problems or any surging. Ran on gasoline and swapped over to propane without any issues! Better and easier than I expected! Came with all equipment needed to operate on gas or propane! Very Happy with this Purchase! Would’ve given five stars, but need to use more than once to give it a five star rating! Will update later

Why spend all the money on a Honda or Yamaha generator when you get more bang for your buck with this Westinghouse. You can't beat the price for the features you get. You get dual fuel (in case the gas isn't going to be arriving on time). Propane is always available during storms. Get an extra one. Started up the first pull on gas. Will test with propane tomorrow. Great features at a great value. Glad I found Westinghouse.

The initial set up for my WGen5300DFv was very quick and simple. All needed tools included with it. Started right up on LP gas for the first trial run. The next day it started first pull with 1/2 gal of gas in the tank, on which it ran for well over the hour break-in. Quieter than other open frame gensets I have been around, even under load. Love the dual fuel capability, as well as the fuel shut-off and especially the built in carburetor bowl drain feature to prepare for storage after running on gasoline.

This generator is built with quality in mind! You can tell Westinghouse is a quality dependable brand. I love the dual fuel feature and starting this up was a breeze. It’s Al’s really nice that oil and a funnel with threads at the end are provided too, very cool!

We were moving out onto a peice of land we bough so we bough this to use as power till we get electric. We bought 4 months ago and it has saved us, it did everything we needed. We are having a little bit of a hard time finding replacement parts. We love it, it works good, wouldn't have been able to be out here without it.

I purchased this generator as an emergency backup for our home. I have test operated the generator to successfully power a variety of small appliances. I especially like that it can operate on gasoline and LPG which allows safer long-term storage between uses. I can store a gas bottle with the generator between uses and then supplement with gasoline during longer periods of operation.

After I got it all set up, it started on the second pull! Seems like a solid little machine, but haven't had to use it in any long-term situation. The only con that I can speak of right now is that the oil fill position is very hard to get to and I seemed to put more oil on the ground than into the machine. Otherwise, I have zero complaints and am have full confidence in this machine.

this is a great generator. Wheels and handle make it more portable than my smaller generator. Oil and all the tools were included to get it going for the first use (only needed a 19mm Wrench to tighten the propane. Duel fuel is really helpful especially up here in the frozen North.
