This was the best thing I ever did I live in a downstairs apartment with brown woodgrain vinyl floors, and every three days I would look down the hallway from my chair and see a path through dust… Now all I do is push the button and guess what no more dust… Love it!

Worked good the first few months now it just acts up all the time. It vacuums the same spot over and over like it glitches, it never knows how to get back to the charging dock, it says it’s being blocked when nothing is in front of it. The way it mapped our home was scrambled so we reset it so it can remap and it only mapped the dining room and it said it was complete. I’m just annoyed of it now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] "I've only had it a few days and haven't really put it to use, but startup, app, and robot are simple to use, easy to put together, and seem to work well. The only hiccup is the app is a little confusing. The robot took off to start cleaning immediately and had a bit of a problem getting back onto the docking area. It did eventually get back on but had to be put in ""do not disturb"" mode to get it to charge before mapping it out. It almost seemed like ut had a mind of its own lol."

It is supposed to vacuum and mop. It sprays a little water, but does not mop. It also has a very short battery life. I tried to use it, but no success. I did. It realize I only had a month to return it or I would have. It was a stretch giving it one star.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried robo vacuums in the past from different brands, and they did not work very well.. After receiving the ECOVACS DEEBOT N8+, the first thing I noticed was the superior quality materials, the overall setup process was very intuitive and easy to understand.

First off this is the first vac bot I’ve owned. So, being newbie to the game I waited till I figured out how to operate it before writing a review. I’ve had this operating for 30 days now. The vacuum part of this works very well! I have one transition from hard wood flooring to carpet that it will sometimes struggle at. I learned to program the bot to clean that room first with a fresh battery. It can try more times before the battery goes dead so that fixed that problem. Programming a cleaning schedule through the app is fairly simple. This is a very nice feature. Now, I tried the mop feature and found that if your carpet has any height to it the bot has problems dragging around the micro fiber pad on carpet. No I don’t have shag carpet either. The bot is on the struggle bus a lot on this carpet with the mopping pad attached. So much that I moved it to a hard surface floor just to see if the mop would work. I’m not impressed by the mop feature at all. Overall I like this vacuum and would buy another!

This vacuum scratched up my entire first floor. I have hardwood floors throughout my whole house and specifically did research for a vacuum known to be good for hardwood floors. This vacuum came up as one of the top options and just used it today for the first time. After mapping out my entire first floor and vacuuming. I now see scrapes and stuffs everywhere. Horrible!

PROS: strong %26 fast w/ pleasant voice updates CONS: minor interventions needed for main features: you will eventually have auto-emptying issues if device is cleaning long pet hair (solved via REDDIT!) %26 the mop cover on my device does not even reach the floor without stuffing material between cover %26 plate I gave five stars because of (sale) price %26 reasonable customer service w/ insurer when adding past 30 day period.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just purchased this as an upgrade to an ECOVACS I purchased 3 years ago. The previous model did a terrific job for us, but finally got tired after 3 years of running daily. Our new N8+ has additional features, include positioning, mopping, self dumping. So far, I am extremely pleased with its performance and upgraded functions at a reasonable price I trust I made the right choice.

Works great and solid for the price point. Once you set up and have your map created, it works well. Time to time it loses the map though so I've had to reset the map or move the vacuum to another room away from the docking station and it refound the map. Nice to have a mopping function too. Better than not mopping at all! You can also set up no vacuum and no mop zones.
