[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this LG - 83" Class C3 Series OLED 4K UHD Smart webOS TV about 3 weeks ago and added the LG - Soundbar C with Wireless Subwoofer, Dolby Atmos, DTS:X & IMAX Enhanced to build a balanced and matched system. There was one problem with this idea. Unless you dig down into the Specs for the Soundbar you won't find out that it cannot be attached to the TV because the included stand and adapter does not fit on the 83" TV even though it states - for all C TVs! So instead of having the Soundbar attached directly to the TV it was placed in front of it. Anyway, the system sounded great because it created a system where the TV speakers and Soundbar speakers worked in unison to produce great sound to go with the fantastic picture. Previously the TV speakers were turned off and only the Soundbar system produced the sound.

Having not bought a soundbar in over 15 years, it was important to make the right choice. I like watching films, TV shows and gaming, so finding something that fits everything was fundamental and the LG came up as ticking all the boxes no matter what I wanted to throw at it. So, I dove in and bought it and I have not been disappointed. It is an easy soundbar to plug in using HDMI eArc, and looks fantastic no matter the TV you use. I don't have an LG TV, but this doesn't have an impact on how brilliant this soundbar sounds. TV content is nice and clear, movies are punchy where they need to be and gaming is just superb. One minor issue I had was pairing the soundbar to my smartphone on WiFi. This was easy to rectify using a 2.4Ghz network, however if you aren't familiar with how to do this you might have trouble connecting the smartphone application. However, once it was paired, it was flawless and gave some additional controls. All in all, my first soundbar purchase in 15 years has gone very well, and I'm extremely happy with it. If you have an LG TV, you get an additional set of mounting options which is definitely something I'll be looking at when I come to buy my next TV.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is honestly one of the best sounding soundbars I've heard for music. Its mindblowing how good it sounds. I love watching music videos on YouTube and this really beats everything else I've ever heard. So why 4 stars? First... in my opinion the sound isn't great for TV/movie viewing. Especially after listening to the stellar music performance. It falls a bit flat to me. The TV I was intending to use this with is an LG OLED CX55, but it doesn't mount to the bottom of that TV. Only the C2/C3 Series (CX series excluded), so instead I paired this up with my 65" TV in my bedroom. It doesn't have wall mount brackets on the back because of the way it's designed, but it does have screws on the bottom (I'm assuming for a different kind of mount that goes under the soundbar). If you have a C2/C3 Series LG OLED, this seems like a no-brainer for instantly better sound. SIDE NOTE: The box is huge and heavy. I'm a strong 5'10" male, and I needed help getting it up my stairs.

I bought the soundbar to complement the LG C3 OLED TV I purchased last year. I've been very happy with the soundbar so far. The TV sound with AI optimisation was pretty good anyway, but now I have the soundbar it's further optimised my viewing experience, especially when watching sports and films. The fact that the soundbar neatly integrates into the TV stand was a definite plus point. Cables are hidden away tidily. I suppose the only downside is that if I add anything to my setup I'll have to lay the TV down again and remove screws to gain easy access to the ports. The soundbar was well packaged, and in spite of a small dent in the cardboard during delivery the contents were well protected. I needed a rather large space to lay everything out. I wasn't expecting the box to be quite so big! The sub and soundbar have a contemporary design and are almost a gunmetal colour. I got a bit frustrated during setup trying to follow the diagram which wasn't at all clear. It showed four cables, but only came with 3 (2 power, 1 HDMI), but once I spotted I'd missed a QR code to a video setup that made things a whole lot easier. Having said that, I am still not sure if I used the power leads correctly. I went for the longer cable on the sub and the shorter one on the TV. Once I'd got the cabling sorted I downloaded the LG Soundbar App so I could play with the configuration. I also went off to hunt connecting to TV videos as that wasn't super clear. All in all I think there should be a playlist of setup videos to make it simpler. Unboxing/connecting, configuring with the TV, getting the most out of the soundbar. I hadn't really considered the benefits of using the soundbar as another speaker in the room so that was a pleasant realisation. I connected via Bluetooth and sampled top volume. Plus points: Incredible sound Great design AI Pro optimisation feature Negatives: Set up instructions are unclear To summarise I am very happy with my purchase. It integrates amazingly well with my TV and provides great sound no matter what you're watching on the TV.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] SC9S Soundbar-Immersive Entertainment Experience: I am happy to say I am very impressed with the quality of the sound emanating from this soundbar. It is robust and rich with no tin-sounding noises. The Soundbar was easy to hook up onto the tv and sits nicely on the included shelf. It goes perfectly with the TV. The setup was easy and the speakers can be put almost anywhere. It makes the TV sound like you are in a movie theater. I really love the soundbar.

Setting it up was not as easy due to the lack of instructions, but I'm a little technologically savy and figured out how to get to the wireless option. It connected to my TV and other devices without any hassle. The Dolby Atmos support is a highlight, giving me a surround sound experience that’s perfect for movies and music. Plus, the sleek design looks great in my living room – it’s modern but not flashy. The only downside is the remote, which feels kind of cheap compared to the sound bar itself. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Sound Bar was very easy to install. Even unboxing was very nice. Well organised, and easy to figure out what went where. Installing just required an HDMI cable into the TV's HDMI/ARC port, and selecting the input on the bar. Everything worked well from the start. It took a bit to figure out the volume settings at first, but it was fairly intuitive. One of the problems I had was the sparsity of configuration information. Once plugged in, there is no way to contour the audio. You can't alter the EQ much, or vary the "front", "side", ATMOS properties. Overall, it presented a nice image, but seemed a bit heavy on the mid high frequencies. I must admit, I am a strong user of a full range speaker set up, but I felt a bit disappointed in the overall tonality of the bar. Perhaps there are controls I am not yet aware of, or maybe a software update to address these areas. Once again, the lack of configuration information was an issue. This would still be a great system for small rooms, or apartment dwellers though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a high quality bundle. The SC9S soundbar has a very booming and crisp sound that will definitely fill your room. I opted to buy the add on back speakers to give it a full surround sound and it is very high quality. The C3 TV is...amazing... admittedly this is my first OLED TV but my goodness is the picture amazing. I have so far watched movies, shows, and sports with the TV and I dont have any complaints. One of the coolest parts of the TV is the remote, it has a pointer on it then allows you to use it almost like a mouse. I would highly recommend both the SC9S as well as the C3 TV.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently moved and needed a soundbar to complement my TV. I reviewed soundbars and came to the conclusion that LG makes quality soundbars. I have been using the LG SC9S soundbar for a few weeks and my audio and video experience has improved greatly. The soundbar provides crisp sound. The subwoofer is not overpowering. It has a sleek appearance. I have a large TV so it compliments the TV in terms of size. The setup was easy. It connects to Bluetooth easily. The volume display is hidden in the front panel but displays different color and level of light to indicate volume. I have not maximized the potential of the sundbar so I am confident my listening experience will be even better. I would highly recommend this product.

For the money I expected much more, but the bar struggled to fill my 375sf family room. For all it's "AI calibration" it lacked punch for the price. I decided to save $ and instead went with the S70TR and it was far better sound in the room and paired perfectly with my 77 OLED C3.
