I so wanted to give this fruitcake a five star rating however, it fell short of that. Another store that I also attend had fruitcake, but they stopped selling it, and I tried this one out. In my opinion, there is not enough fruit in it and it is not moist enough for me. I’m sure other people would find it satisfactory and that’s OK with me. I know what I like with all that said it was good fruitcake just not excellent.

This is absolutely the only purchased fruitcake I will eat. I've enjoyed it since we sold it as a school fundraiser in the 1960's. Usually I buy it in-store, but my club was out. We tried another brand at twice the price from another store, and threw it away; dry and tasteless. Then I thought to look online: success! Thank you Sam's Club and Claxtons.

When a friend in another state shared that he was mourning the absence of his favorite fruit cake that he always bought at “the other warehouse club,“ I got to work and found this fruit cake at Sam’s. It got good reviews, so I sent him one. He was delighted, not only with the taste and reminiscence of his yearly fruit cakes, but he thinks this brand is one that his family used to enjoy for many years. What took me a total of about two minutes brought lots of joy to this cross-country friend!

This is not the first time we have bought Claxton Fruit Cake, from Sam’s and other retailers. Can’t beat the price, but more importantly the Fruit Cake is delicious. This Fruit cake is moist and loaded with candied fruit and nuts. This is one you can enjoy and not use it as a door stop! Merry Christmas!

This fruitcake is packed with fruits & nuts with very little cake. As such, the fruitcake is a little on the sweet side. I prefer a fruitcake that has a little more cake. However, being a special purchase for $9.98 for three one-pound loafs, it’s great value with good quality ingredients.

It would not be Christmas at our home if my husband did not have Claxton Fruitcake. He loves it a d I get his at Sam's Club every year.. He says that it is close to the fruitcake that his mother made him. She made them for him and shipped them to him when he was in the Air Force.. i make sure that he has Claxton Fruitcake every Christmas..

When I saw the Claxton Fruit Cake at my local Sam’s I was taken back in memory of my childhood. Every year at Christmas our family received a Claxton Fruit Cake. I went online and ordered fruit cakes for each one of my siblings. Sams delivered the cakes at no additional charge. The cakes were delivered before Christmas and all went as planned.

Internet son loves Claxton fruit cake but could not find any in local stores. I found this 3 cake box at Sams Club and bought one for thanksgiving. He was so pleased, so I ordered three more boxes for him online as a Christmas surprise. Priced right !

I brought this item for my 83 years old Daddy because he was remembering about his childhood memories of eating fruit cake. I tried others they wasn't upto the flavor or consistency that he was looking for. Until I tried Claxon Fruit Cake. Since there's 3 in the box he's had 1 for Thanksgiving, and maybe 1 for Christmas and maybe 1 for New years if it lasts that long because he really really really loves this fruit cake.

I wait every year for Sam’s to get these in stock. I always buy 3 packages of them and put them in the freezer so I can enjoy them all year long. Great taste, moist, plenty of fruit and nuts, so be careful if you are allergic to nuts. I’m diabetic so this is my secret indulgence but I only have a small slice when the sugar urge hits me.
