Came perfectly packaged, I had never tried fruitcake before and wanted to try it, I should have bought a small package with one loaf. Would love to share it with someone who likes fruitcake. Yes, I read all the stories about fruitcake but I figured if they still sell it, it must be better than people suggest and it is a tradition, I am not a fan.

my husband and I love fruit cake, specifically Claxtons, during the holidays. Growing up, it was often sold as fund raiser by banks, service organizations,etc. Recently I was thrilled to find it at Walmart, but not this year. So.....happy to find it online.

My husband told me that he didn’t like fruitcake. I convinced him to just try this as I’d had Claxton fruitcake before. It’s just plain different from other fruitcakes I’d had in the past. This is moist and dense, filled with glacé fruit and l chunky nuts. Sam’s Club was the only place I could find it.

I brought this item for my 83 years old Daddy because he was remembering about his childhood memories of eating fruit cake. I tried others they wasn't upto the flavor or consistency that he was looking for. Until I tried Claxon Fruit Cake. Since there's 3 in the box he's had 1 for Thanksgiving, and maybe 1 for Christmas and maybe 1 for New years if it lasts that long because he really really really loves this fruit cake.

Excellent product for a small fruitcake. You can give as gifts or in baskets. There are three individual bars so the price is right for 3 gifts. As lover of fruitcakes these may not be as good as a large $45 one but they are still moist and have good ingredients

Some people do not care for fruit cake, while others are very fond of it. It brings back sweet memories of long ago days when there were no fast food joints and cakes in the winter were made with preserved fruits and nuts. This fruit cake has the closest taste and texture of fruit cake made by my dear mother some 60- 70 years ago. Absolutely a must have for our Christmas treats.

Got this for my mother. She really loved it. Very rich and moist. Three loaves included. One for "I just opened it and can't wait", one for Thanksgiving and one for Christmas. She is in South Dakota and I am in Idaho, so free shipping for Plus Members makes this a win-win for me.

It got good reviews, so I sent him one. He was delighted, not only with the taste and reminiscence of his yearly fruit cakes, but he thinks this brand is one that his family used to enjoy for many years. What took me a total of about two minutes brought lots of joy to this cross-country friend!

I bought this for my mom, she loves fruit cake. Last year i made some but i cooked it too long. I bake regularly and very rarely it's not good. But my fruit cake was not that good. So i thought about store bought. But this one is moist and very flavorful. My mom loves this fruit cake.

We had finished our Deluxe Fruitcake from Collins Street Bakery ( the best there is IMO), and I still wanted a bit more holiday cheer. Ordered these, and was very happy with them for both taste and freshness. I took away one star for texture, but enjoyed the bits of citrus this one has. Good cake! I will order again
