These are prefect! There are three logs of fruitcake, so we can take our time enjoying one while the others stay fresh. These are moist and filled with candied fruit. For those of you who do enjoy a good fruitcake, this is the one to get. We love it!

We really loved this, as we do NOT like real citrus tasting fruit. The fruit was mild and delicious. It could have used a stronger flavor or rum, brandy or brown sugar, as it’s real weak on flavors. We’ll buy again and doctor it up until we find a replacement.

There fruitcakes remind me of when I was young as my dad used to always come home with a package or two. They are yummy fruit cakes if you are a fruit cake lover. If you don’t like fruit cake though, you will not like these as they are full of candied fruits and nuts. The price for three cakes is great at Sams. I ordered two so it will last through the holidays and I can freeze whatever we don’t eat.

my husband and I love fruit cake, specifically Claxtons, during the holidays. Growing up, it was often sold as fund raiser by banks, service organizations,etc. Recently I was thrilled to find it at Walmart, but not this year. So.....happy to find it online.

My mom made really good fruit cake but I have never attempted. I found Clayton’s and it is very good. It’s not a cake with a few candied fruit and nuts here and there it is full of them like fruit cake should be. I stock up at Christmas and put them in the freezer so we can have a treat all year.

Simply the best fruitcake. Beats any bakery made fruitcake. No dry outer crust, packed with candied fruit and nut. And so reasonably price. One Christmas my Wife though she was treating me by buying a bakery made one. I kind of hurt her feelings by saying please just buy the cheap one(,sorry no disrespect, guess never paid attention to your product name, just that familiar rectangle shape)

A treat our household has been eating for years. Claxton is the very best commercial fruit cake. It is loaded with fruit, some nuts, and a very tasty batter. I always put a little brandy or Tia Maria on it for my own personal taste. Also, the Claxton fruit cake has a long shelf life and is just a nice treat whenever it gets a little chilly out.

Some people do not care for fruit cake, while others are very fond of it. It brings back sweet memories of long ago days when there were no fast food joints and cakes in the winter were made with preserved fruits and nuts. This fruit cake has the closest taste and texture of fruit cake made by my dear mother some 60- 70 years ago. Absolutely a must have for our Christmas treats.

We had finished our Deluxe Fruitcake from Collins Street Bakery ( the best there is IMO), and I still wanted a bit more holiday cheer. Ordered these, and was very happy with them for both taste and freshness. I took away one star for texture, but enjoyed the bits of citrus this one has. Good cake! I will order again

I can remember several years back that I did not enjoy claxton fruitcakes but my mother-in-law loves them so we bought some and now after enjoying this fruitcake immensely we both went back and bought two more three packs to enjoy. They are fabulous :-) I also bought a three pack for my dad for Christmas as well and he loves it.
