We had finished our Deluxe Fruitcake from Collins Street Bakery ( the best there is IMO), and I still wanted a bit more holiday cheer. Ordered these, and was very happy with them for both taste and freshness. I took away one star for texture, but enjoyed the bits of citrus this one has. Good cake! I will order again

We really loved this, as we do NOT like real citrus tasting fruit. The fruit was mild and delicious. It could have used a stronger flavor or rum, brandy or brown sugar, as it’s real weak on flavors. We’ll buy again and doctor it up until we find a replacement.

Hard to find in local stores, but pleasantly surprised to see that Sam’s carries this holiday favorite! My mom searched the local grocery stores in 2019 and couldn’t find her favorite Claxton fruit cake. On a long shot, I checked the Sam’s app and found it in stock in store and online. In 2020 we didn’t waste our time trying to find elsewhere, we just ordered straight from Sam’s!

I can remember several years back that I did not enjoy claxton fruitcakes but my mother-in-law loves them so we bought some and now after enjoying this fruitcake immensely we both went back and bought two more three packs to enjoy. They are fabulous :-) I also bought a three pack for my dad for Christmas as well and he loves it.

Always the best Fruitcake, my Mom absolutely loves this fruitcake and I start getting it for her as soon as it hits the shelves at Sams. Her birthday is in November so it was perfect timing that I was able to purchase it in October. Don't laugh, I got 10 boxes (3 cakes in each box) I have them hidden, if she finds them they will all be gone before Christmas

A treat our household has been eating for years. Claxton is the very best commercial fruit cake. It is loaded with fruit, some nuts, and a very tasty batter. I always put a little brandy or Tia Maria on it for my own personal taste. Also, the Claxton fruit cake has a long shelf life and is just a nice treat whenever it gets a little chilly out.

Perfect. People that don’t like sweets - this is not for you. Lots of candies fruits and it is hard. Taste best cold and buttered. It’s really an acquired taste so if you don’t like fruitcake you will not like this. This will do for me once a year for the holidays- it’s a bit time consuming to make myself so this will do as fruitcake. If you do not like candied fruits and a dense cake do not buy this.

my husband and I love fruit cake, specifically Claxtons, during the holidays. Growing up, it was often sold as fund raiser by banks, service organizations,etc. Recently I was thrilled to find it at Walmart, but not this year. So.....happy to find it online.

Bought Clayton Fruit Cake for a Christmas gift for my mom and she loved it!!!! I usually make her one but didn’t have time. This fruit cake was a great price, came individually wrapped and because I’m a plus member there was no shipping!! Definitely a win-win-win!!!

The Claxton Fruit Cake is not only a great Christmas favorite for our house but is also a wonderful gift. When just running over to the neighbors I grab a cake and we have a special treat together. It is always a welcomed gift. I usually buy several boxes as it has a long shelf life and after the holidays it tastes just as good as on Christmas Day.
