I purchased this for ironing my when I'm sewing. It's small and easy to store, however the handle broke. I don't use it very often and it was still under warranty. They had me send it out for repair and when I got it back, it was dented and had a rattling noise. A few months, the handle broke again. Like I said, I don't use it very often and it's not made for every day use, but the handle is not very sturdy and breaks easily. I was very disappointed with this product. I would've been better off buying a cheaper iron.

I love this little iron...has a ton of steam holes, is light weight and is a work horse. Having said that my first one lasted for 4 years, my second one for a year the third one for a week which I got a replacement for and that one and the replacemnt have issues with the turn knob that controls functions. The first one would NOT work hence the return..the second one was so difficult to turn that I had to have my husband move it into the steam section of the control. I had decided that if this one dies within a year...I am not goint to buy another.Your custmer service stinks. You can NOT talk to a person no matter what...I am a quilter...like many women and the control turn knob is so tight that it's almost impossible to turn...I have recommended to friends and they love it too but lately not so much..with all the recent control turn know issues

I am on my second iron... Handle broke on the first one. I love that it heats up quickly and it is compact for travel to quilt retreats. However many quilty friends have had the handle break on theirs as well so seems to be a design flaw. Also would like to see an auto shut off feature. Overall a good iron.

The wrinkles came out right away and didn't take the creases out of my shirt and pants. Perfect for the home and a super high quality product

I received the this as a Christmas gift in 2011--weird inside joke between my roommate and I--and it worked beautifully up until this week when it started to make a crackling noise. It is compact, light, and reliable. I have no idea why it started crackling, but the sound was akin to how a fire sounds when it's starting to wick up so I decided the best plan of action was to unplug it and leave it in the bathroom in case it wanted to spark up. I haven't plugged it after that. About me: I used this 90% of the time for the steam function on my dresses, tops, and cardigans. I very rarely used it on pants or heavier material.

Bought my first compact travel iron in May 2016 because i quilt and it was a great size. Loved it but the handle broke within 6 months so I purchased another one and it just stopped heating up one year later. I work at a quilt store so I started asking customers and friends about the iron and everyone I spoke to had the same experience! Either the handle broke or it just stopped heating!! I have moved over to the Steamfast Travel iron and am very happy so far. I hope Rowena fixes the problems soon!

I purchased this iron on a recommendation by a friend. I bought thus iron to use at workshops, classes and retreats. First thing out of the box, the heating element did not work so I could never use it as a steam iron. I used it as a dry iron and it worked just fine, but kind of a waste of all these steam holes on the sole plate. The last time I used it, it started to crackle and make noise. The next thing I knew it was smoking and burned itself out. The iron no longer works at all. The same thing happened to someone else I know. That person bought another one. Rowena has a good reputation, but I don't think the product is as good as

I bought this for use in my travels. I cannot express how satisfied I am with this iron. I love the way it folds up and it takes up almost no space in my luggage. Even now, I use it at home when I need to iron "tight" corners on a garment. I love this iron!!!

Received this compact steam iron for Christmas and I am loving it for my sewing iron! Just what I wanted!! Works great next to the machine and gets into all the tight little spots sewing requires. I had seen reviews complaining of leaking so I read the directions carefully, I do not overfill with water and have not had any leaking! Very pleased with this little iron!!

I bought this iron as a replacement due to a recall of a competing brand. I like the size and the way the handle collapses for packing. I do not like the iron doesn't have an on/off switch, maybe the European models have what is show in the instruction book.
