I do not recommend this potato salad. It barely had any potatoes in it and was mostly the dressing and potato skins. I'm guessing if I would have cooked up some of my own potatoes to go in it, it would have been a big better, but no one should have to add potatoes to something called "potato salad". Worst purchase I've ever made, I should have read the reviews first.

Absolutely awful and disgusting! The texture and taste are both unpleasant. I wish I could be more descriptive but it's truly something you have to experience. I tried several spoonfuls and the taste kept getting worse. I tried adding a little salt, then pepper, then a spoonful with a bite of chicken. This tastes so bad I'm actually angry that I consumed it. I've never asked for a refund on products I've disliked but this time I feel like I'm owed one. This goes beyond like/dislike, this is is not edible!

Not a fan of this potato salad. Yes, it has all the components of a baked potato, but the sour cream is way too overwhelming. I can't taste anything but sour cream. Normally I get the deviled egg potato salad, but they were out, so I bought this instead.

I had high hopes for this loaded potato salad, but it somehow missed it's mark for this member. The first thing that hit me was the overbearing hit of salt, artificial bacon flavor, mayo and a strange or almost slimy mouth feel from the sauce. I typically find myself wanting to eat the entire container of most potato salads. After 3 or 4 bites I quickly grew tired of it. I really like the loaded baked potato salad from Walmart and thought this one would be similar or even better. They aren't even close. On the plus side...The sliced potatoes were cooked perfectly, not mushy and not under cooked. Need to tone down the mayo taste/texture, reduce the salt and possibly add some acidity to it to balance out the flavors a bit.

Everyone likes them different - firmer potato chunks in sauce, creamy kinda mashed types, sweet, sour, mustard, egg, mayo, etc. I'm typically a dill eggy mustard creamy potato salad kind of person. This is one EXTRA creamy. It has a sour cream and mayo base. The texture is good as far as chunk of potatoes in the cream base. It also has some shredded cheddar cheese, chives and bacon bits in it. I definitely added more bacon and a touch more salt to it to enhance it a bit better. It's not overly sweet or sour, it's got balance in that regard. I personally think it eats better warmed up as it tastes more like a loaded baked potato au gratin. I think they should cut out some of the binders like the carrageenan, corn starch and the sodium phosphate (because who really needs that anyway). All in all, it's not bad or amazing. If you don't like sour cream or it's texture - skip. If you love a good creamy baked potato, you probably would like it. But it's definitely thiiiick when cold.

*received reimbursement for this honest review I really liked this potato salad. My family and guests enjoyed it with ribs and other sides for a cookout. I didn't leave it out in the container - instead I put it in a serving bowl and had multiple inquiries for the recipe! It's cheesy and delicious without being overwhelming. My husband is not a fan of anything with mayo/sour cream and he loved this! Will definitely buy again!!

I received a reimbursement for this product to leave an honest review. I wanted to LOVE this product. I am a huge baked potato fan and even more so when loaded. I immediately grabbed a bowl when I arrived home with it. I must say you can see the cheese and bacon. That was a nice surprise. I was not pleased. I added salt. This does not mean that everyone would. I am the type that will put salt on a side of salt before I taste something. The salt was not needed and did not enhance the taste of this. I then decided maybe I should try it after it had been in the refrigerator a bit and was more like what you would have when buying it for a reason other than a review. It was much better. I love that you can taste the cheese and bacon. This is where the good ends. It is creamy but I cannot tell what is causing the creaminess. It does not taste like sour cream or the normal mayo or mustard. It is just a bland creaminess. This is not a bad product but not something I will buy again.

extremely decadent ... which i thought i'd never say about potato salad. it is very good & i particularly like the chunky eggs & chunky potatoes & potato skin peels ... tho it is almost too much. i recommend, but i think i'd prefer a regular ole potato salad.

Large chucks of potatoes cheese and bacon. This potato salad has a strong, distinct vinegar taste which was little too sour for my taste. We shared with friends and many loved the taste and the whole container was quickly gone. Definitely a 5 star if that is your preference.

Bought the Loaded Potato Salad and I personally did not like it, however, two members of my family actually enjoyed it hence two stars rating. With the name “Loaded PotatoSalad” I really expected it to be more of a typical potato salad, instead it’s more like a loaded cold mashed potato full of sour cream. It’s very salty and the chives and cheddar cheese really stand out. There is bacon in the potato salad but it’s not noticeable, but boy can one taste it. Another thing I did not like was the fact that the russet potatoes still had their skin on. Because the tub that the potato salad is in is big, I would not buy this potato salad again, it’s too big for a family of four. The size of the tub is perfect for a potluck bbq or a dinner party.
