Love these seared

Bought these and discovered on the drive home they smelled horrible. They stunk up my car and then I called the warehouse to see if I could get a refund and they told me I would have to return to the store with the scallops to receive a refund. I couldn’t return same day and even being in my freezer, they left the worst smell in my freezer and fridge. Took days to get the smell to go away with vinegar and baking soda.

They aren’t bad. Cook up decent. That said the description is incorrect. They are not dry and have two other ingredients- salt and sodium citrate. They are processed soaked scallops. If the were dry it would be a decent deal but for wet scallops it’s kind of a rip off.

Fresh, these were absolutely delicious. I know these are frozen, but you could tell they didn't sit around for a few days before being frozen, they were fresh like getting them straight off the dock. I lived in RI for most of my life and I felt like I was back home, these are the quality I would get from a dockside seafood market.

We've purchased these many times and are always very happy! Taste, texture and value are top notch!
