[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ll get what I didn’t like out of the way first. First of all, this brewer is replacing my Keurig Iced maker, and I was disappointed to learn upon unboxing it that they were not the same size but this was significantly longer, which caused a bit of an issue as it does not fit in the same place as my last brewer did. I also found the power cord short, which isn’t a problem on countertops but as this is next to my desk caused another issue. Finally, I also found the brewing chamber difficult to open, and a few times I’ve been afraid of causing damage to the product by opening it. Now to what I did like. I found the build quality very high and the product felt significantly heavier than my last brewer. Finally, the reason I’m giving this product a four star review regardless of my issues with it. This is by far the best cup of coffee I’ve gotten out of a pod-style brewer. I home brew a lot of different styles of drip coffee as well as regularly pull espresso, and this is the first cup of coffee from a pod I think even holds a candle in quality, flavor, and mouthfeel. Out of curiosity I made a comparison cup in my other machine, and using the same settings the cup tasted vegetal, which in my experience means that this machine has much more accurate brewing temperatures and methodologies internally, making for a much better end product. If you want to have the best coffee out of a pod style brewer and you don’t mind a few potential frustrations, I would absolutely recommend this product.

Mixed review. When doing the initial priming clean which uses the grounds basket I was very surprised at how noisy it was but wrote that off as new system and needing to get water through. After priming I inserted pod attachment and made a 12 oz cup of coffee. It ran quiet until the very last spurt, and that sound wasn’t alarming. Coffee tasted great and was quite hot which I liked. So I ran a second batch of water through, 14 oz, using the grounds basket and no grounds in the basket. Lots of noise and grumbling sounds with steam coming out around the control lid. I am going to return this to the store. I had planned on using this frequently for custom blend coffee and large travel mugs but the noise is not acceptable for me. If I was only interested in using it for k cups then it would be a keeper. Since I’m not keeping it I haven’t tried the frother.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've tried this machine out for a few days and I'm very happy with it. I like that I can use my own grounds or a pod for my morning beverage. If I want a stronger flavor I can just push the button to the rich setting. The specialty setting is awesome for a very strong flavor that can be used to make a cappuccino. The side frother works great. Just a minute or less and a great froth to add to the specialty brew. Overall I love this machine. It has everything that I need in one spot.

Wifey loves her iced coffee but doesn’t like it watered down so the fact that you can choose the strength of your coffee is definitely convenient and helps to ensure that you get your perfect cup of coffee’s each time. I love the k cup adapter, very simple. Our favorite option is the frother. Amazing.

Love the profile. Takes up little space. Makes great coffee - I like mine strong & use the “rich” setting for my 12 oz serving. Also love the movable shelf that eliminates spatter & allows use of taller travel mugs & the storage compartment. Very well thought out design!!

First one lasted about 3 months and would no longer brew. They replaced it but I had to cover shipping. The replacement machine worked the first time, was full of grounds the second and I am now getting the same error message as the first unit. I've bought 6 or 7 ninja products and this is the first one that wasn't great.
