Bought brisket for Christmas but ended up freezing it until Memorial Day. I was concerned about the time due to fat content but it was the best brisket I have ever smoked. Maybe 25% fat. Everyone was happy, even the cook.

Was the fattiest brisket I have ever cooked. It weighed 26lbs at purchase but I trimmed nearly 8lbs of fat off of it before smoking and it still had a sizable fat cap left to render in the smoker.

We buy several a month and it is great always. There is sometimes an issue with packaging being damaged in store which prevents me from being able to purchase more than I'd like. For instance, I wanted to get 4 whole briskets my last trip but out of 6, 2 were great, 2 were damaged but still out and 2 were just not that great quality. Overall my experience is typically great when purchasing them.

I purchased this product only to get home and find a brisket that was more skin and fat, than meat! I paid $61.62 at $4.98 per pound, but had to trim SOOO much skin and fat that I decided to return it! More than half of the product’s weight was inconsumable and after asking for a refund I was only refunded $4.98 which is only one pound of the product after I had to throw it all away. I have had to go back and forth to get a refund for a poor and low quality product as this with no success whatsoever. If it’s possible to give negative star ratings on this I would give this product and Sam’s service negative five (-5) stars!!!

oh my word !!! the piece we bought was full of fat. we took out like 2 lb of just pure fat before cooking, so not sure if it’s worth buying this again, i probably won’t buy it again. Butchers need to trim a bit more the fats because they charged me for them.
