First off, I purchased the 6-7mm and most of the pearls were 5mm. I returned them. I wanted the 7-8mm so I ordered up a size getting the 8-9mm. They were very nice, they are not super white, more like a vanilla with a touch of yellow or cream. those pearls were pretty for the money and then the string broke off at the end of the gold clasp...so I returned them and reordered with the 2 year warrenty the same 8-9mm. this strand came very fast and the color is slightly brighter with an ever so slight rainbow sheen. they are not perfectly round. I would say close to round and a nice size for a mature woman. You do get what you pay for and these pearls were not 5 or 6 hundred. So for under 200, I am happy, they are my first set of really nice pearls. the gold clasp is a bit too tiny and I deal with it. the look is rich and classy. if you want super white pearls, these are not it. If you are okay with almost round and slightly creamy off-white or off-yellow, these are it for you. From a distance, they appear white, just not up close. I'm very content with the price. Size up for the mm whatever you decide and they are not exactly 18 inches. More like 17.5 or 17.70

The pearls look twisted somehow as if too many pearls were jammed together, giving it a sort of twisted look.

the luster is favorable, but the shape is not round. it is button pearl. The 18K gold claps looks cheap.

I bought these pearls as a gift but never received a gift box as shown thank God I had a box available. Pearls are beautiful but questionable in actual size received.
