Although I lost 60 pounds within a few months and was dehydrated, my blood work showed I was not malnourished. This was ONLY due to Ensure! Now that I am on the recovery, one Ensure daily continues to provide me with the nutritional support I need on a heavily restrictive diet.

I've tried different flavors and different types but the original milk chocolate is the best. When I'm in a hurry and don't have time to make something to eat, ensure keeps me from getting hungry for 2-3 hours until I can get something to eat. This product taste good. Be cautious if you have a blood disorder such as hemochromatosis, I had consumed this product because I was hungry with no store available at time . Had blood scheduled 2 days later and showed blood Iron saturation #'s up. I do not eat red meat therefore this had a leading cause for my readings being high.

But when my stomach problems and constant nausea became too strong to eat solid foods without instantly feeling worse, I started to drink these and was pleasantly surprised! The vanilla flavor tastes just like vanilla bean ice cream!
