While waiting for my new liver I asked my doctor how I could help myself. He replied nutrition, nutrition, nutrition! He ordered Ensure original for me. When I went home I started on my own to keep up with my nutrition. I found the best is refrigerated Ensure original. I like milk chocolate. Needless to say, it worked! I received my new liver in September, 2012. I saw my daughter graduate college. I know it was the grace of God and my determination that kept me alive, with the help of Ensure. I’m well now and continue Ensure for breakfast. I love it. It’s so convenient and good for me. A great way to start my day.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a cancer patient since March 2017, and prior to this I would sporadically drink ensure, but once my diagnosis I would drink ensure daily to help me have the strength of the ongoing chemo treatments, and then the re-emergence of cancer in different parts of my body which required different treatment and hospitalizations, and ups and downs on my body due to this illness. I am currently facing a stem cell transplant which I will end up 4-6 weeks away from home being treated in Nebraska and Ensure is part of my daily routine and will be for the rest of my days to help me get thru each day.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is great for me in the morning. I have a problem swallowing food in the morning, so I have one of these and I'm good to go. I usually drink 1-3 of them a day. Depending how well my food is going down.

I enjoy the rich, dark chocolate flavor. It provides so much great nutrition and also is easily digestible. During a colitis flare, I use Ensure for several days, three times a day and it helps return me to normal. Other days, I have it for dinner and it keeps my weight in check.

If I do any physical work or sporting activity during the day I usually drink another bottle. This keeps me going until dinner. Instead of eating unhealthy snacks at night I may drink another bottle. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I started on Ensure due to an intestinal challenge that occurred sporadically. I found the Butter Pecan flavor to be the one for me. I keep them in the refrigerator and place one in the freezer 2 1/2 hours prior to use. I stir at 2 hrs. Then I developed a loss of appetite and really had to depend on Ensure and supplements and for a long time I had two a day. I now have mostly one a day - Winter and Summer I find one very refreshing and very filling. It has definitely been a life-saver for me. Thanks.
