[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My elderly Mom has a great deal of problems swallowing. Food has to be pureed and doesn't taste good at all. This made problems and also effected some of her medications. Last week I had to go visit her in another state because this caused problems and put her in the hospital. There they gave her Boost choc. which she hated. Can't say I blame her. I went and got her Ensure and since she doesn't like choc and butter pecan is one of her favorite ice creams that's what I got her. I said Ma try it its like melted ice cream. She loves it.

I have it straight as a delicious shakes, I use it with strawberry, mango, soursop, papaya, banana, or other fruits to make a variety of nutritional shakes. It seemed like a good way to start the day & get most of the nutrients that we need while watching our diets through the day. My husband started to lose weight while I gained but found out that it was bc I got pregnant. I confirmed with my Dr. that it would be good to continue and kept going. We love it and wouldn't trade it for anything.

I've been drinking ensure for a long time and when I discovered this flavor I was so excited to try it! It was so good, creamy, packed with flavor! I get it every chance I get, my local store doesn't have it all the time but when they do, boy oh boy, I buy them out! Lol

My 90 year old mother drinks at least 2 or 3 of these a day and loves them. She likes all flavors but prefers the coffee, strawberry and butter pecan. She puts them in the refrigerator and they get cold and taste like a milk shake. I would highly recommend them for someone who cannot handle solid foods.

But when my stomach problems and constant nausea became too strong to eat solid foods without instantly feeling worse, I started to drink these and was pleasantly surprised! The vanilla flavor tastes just like vanilla bean ice cream!
