I had tried many other protein drinks and was reluctant to try this product thinking it would taste like all the others. Several of my folks have Ensure, but I never thought of it for myself. One person raved about the butter pecan, so I thought I'd give it a try. It's good, but I really love the strawberry! Now, I can grab a bottle of Ensure on my way out the door, and no more skipped breakfasts!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Due to throat restrictions and other complications from stage 4 throat cancer and treatment, I am not able to swallow anything thicker than the Original Ensure Shakes. Even blended foods are not passing my damaged epiglottis reliably. My only viable (and probably inevitable) alternative is going back to a feeding tube. I am able to hold off that day for now. I have used all the flavors, but definitely drink Coffee Latte the majority of the time.
