I loved chocolate milk as a child and this reminded me of that. The taste made me forget why I needed to drink this after having multiple surgeries. I have multiple health issues, which impact my immune system, my energy & stamina, but Ensure helps me by improving my vitamin/mineral intake & it gives me a bit of a lift by helping to build up muscle strength & boosting my energy level every day, naturally without any of the stuff they put in those unnatural energy drinks. I just love Ensure & wouldn't start a day without it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Due to throat restrictions and other complications from stage 4 throat cancer and treatment, I am not able to swallow anything thicker than the Original Ensure Shakes. Even blended foods are not passing my damaged epiglottis reliably. My only viable (and probably inevitable) alternative is going back to a feeding tube. I am able to hold off that day for now. I have used all the flavors, but definitely drink Coffee Latte the majority of the time.

Unfortunately, i got terribly sick after one shake, it rather triggered my migraine attack and the end was not very comfortable at all. Its amazing at growing muscle but those migraine headache sufferers out there, its too dangerous perhaps due to the artificial sweetener thats a trigger if not for that id be on this ensure everyday

My stepmom mentioned ensure and from that point on, 3 months before my heart surgery, my main nourishment was strawberry ensure. It helped me believe that I was getting enough nutrition to hang in long enough to find out what was wrong with me. Now 2 years later after my open heart surgery(mitral valve replacement) with my doctor's approval, I am prescribed one Ensure every single day and it helps me maintain a nutritious lifestyle. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't feel like eating the first thing when I get up, so usually the first thing I eat or drink is when I get in the car to go somewhere (meet a client, go to a job or a doctor's app't, etc. etc.), so ENSURE is just terrific to satisfy my hunger and give me proper nourishment when I rush off to my first app't!! Love the taste - especially the Butter Pecan and Vanilla flavors - and I know I'm NOT packing on any unnecessary calories or fat!
