Poisoned Beef with Strong Chemical Smell

We purchased a pack of Angus Beef on Thursday, June 25, 2024 at Sam's Club Southaven, Mississippi. It cost $ 36.13. As we cut the beef into pieces, a strong chemical, gassy smell was released from the beef. We believe this chemical was formaldehyde, and that the beef was soaked in this chemical solution before we bought it. This is not the first time Sam's Club has poisoned food items before we purchased them. It happens regularly. We have returned this item to Sam's Club.
