I bought these and I am glad I did, each one gave me three meals and I had two, and all in all I was able to get 6 meals by cutting and vac-sealing them.

I bought these probably for the fourth time one of them was very good the other one was very tough hard to believe that both could be in the same package.

I've made Mississippi Pot Roast in the slow cooker for years using a chuck roast. 8-10 hours on low produces always produces a melt in your mouth tender, flavorful dinner. Because of the slightly better price, I decided to try a chuck roast from Sam's, a mistake I won't make again. After 10 hours on low I had a roast that fell apart, as expected, but that's where the similarity ended. While it wasn't necessarily tough, it was stringy and dry making it hard to chew. I had to add more gravy to make it halfway palatable.

I think over the course of a year I buy maybe 10 to 15 of these roasts. Seared and slow roasted with onions & carrots. Just salt pepper and garlic and about 16 oz of water in the bottom of the pot, cover and bake for 2 hours. Makes a great Sunday dinner or sandwiches on Sam's hoagie rolls and the bun dipped in the juice

The roasts are perfect size g the taste is good. It arrived cold& the package intact. My issue is with the one who pulled the order. What i expect is to pay on or about the price listed. This person picked our the biggest& most expensive pieces one was$45 & the other over $50. I know most people won't pick that up when I'm in Sam's, I'm looking for good prices, not the highest price. Looks like convenience just isn't working & I'm tipping 20% on almost every

I picked up 2 packages of this chuck roast when it was on sale. Prices of meat being what they are.....4 good sized roasts which I vacuumed sealed 3 for the freezer. Not overly fatty but enough for tenderness and flavor. I seasoned very well, seared and slow roasted in a dutch oven. Delicious, tender w/ a good beef flavor. Husband and I had several meals from one roast making it an economical choice.
