I had to contact 'Lifetime' due to one of the caps that protects one of the ends of the tubes. I was quickly supplied with a replacement quickly- thanks! The glider itself we really like too! (Shipping problem, not Lifetime's! It's well packaged but FedEx managed to break it.)

Description of bench led me to believe seating surface was plastic wood (Polystyrene) as listed in the specifications and product description. The seating surfaces and back are wood grain painted metal tubes. The construction of the entire bench is solid. I will wait to see how well the metal holds up in direct sunlight and if it dents or deforms in daily use.

I picked this bench out as a graduation gift years ago. It is in great condition after several moves (not too heavy to move around either), and being exposed to the weather over the last 5 years. I love the faux wood look, without the need to upkeep actual wood. This is so great to just sit on and glide/rock for a while. It is such a relaxing bench, and when I had my newborn, we would enjoy the fresh air out on it almost every night with her. It was a great purchase, and it still looks brand new, after all this time.

I bought this swing 3 months ago and the 1st slate ate the fromn of the seat cracked at the screw and warped took it off and found that the screws that hold it in are self taping metal svrews and do not come out easily and I hve not been able to get it replaced. Now must throw it out.

I have 2 of your gliders and they are great outdoors. I had the rubber feet wear out or fall out on them (so far 2 on each one). I sent an email and got a response from your techs and got 8 new rubber feet in the mail. Great service. We really like the gliders.

We bought two Lifetime Glider Benches for our cabin and we should have bought more because those are the chairs everybody fights to sit in! We love them. They glide so smoothly and they are comfy! Plus they withstand extreme weather conditions and still look like new.

I bought a Lifetime glider that had been sitting on someone's very narrow front porch for about 6 years. We proceeded to sit it in front of our house, under a edge of a Japanese maple for another 5 years. We then moved it some land we bought deep in the country where it has now been sitting for another 6 years. Sure, the surface is looking a bit rougher but it still glides smoothly and does not have any rust. And I have never lubricated any of the moving parts. I am a Lifetime Products customer for life and about to buy one of the storage sheds!

We own many Lifetime pieces but this is my favorite! It sits in the west facing sun and still looks amazing despite the sun beating down on it daily. It provides a nice and relaxing place to spend the summer nights (once the sun has gone down) and enjoy the sunsets.

I have had this glider for several years and it's the center piece on my deck. Down through the years, a couple of the slats have broken but Lifetime has been more than gracious about replacing them. I own this bench, the bench/picnic table, 3 long white tables and several chairs by Lifetime and will continue to add to my collection!!
