I have been a gamer for 40 years... bought the original Xbox they day it came out... I have owned all of the Xbox consoles Except the Xbox one because I felt Microsoft dropped the ball big time... Played my Xbox 360 for 12 years... Fast forward to the Series X and WOW what a gaming machine... now with Game Pass Ultimate Xbox is redefining Gaming! What an unbelievable DEAL!

so lucky enough like a handful of others I was able to receive my Xbox about a week early. when I picked up the shipping box I shortly thought that it could not be my Xbox as it was so heavy. sure enough I was overjoyed. setting it up: quite unusual it forced me to use the Xbox app to set up the console. rather than just letting me sign in on the local device forced me to download and put in a code displayed on the console setup screen. using it: the interface is much like the regular Xbox choices but notably faster. games install and load with lightning like speed. playing older games originally made for the 360 still functioned.. I would swear they looked sharper. pressing the menu button would give me the option to go back to the home screen and do whatever I needed to but I could resume the game in an instant exactly where I'd left it. if I started another game both were instantly resumable. I honestly hesitated for this pre-order figuring what's the big deal. after using this I simply think I can't go back now. I have to get rid of my older Xbox there's just no comparison.

I havent opened it yet as its a Christmas gift, but we were pleasantly surprised that it was delivered today (Christmas Eve) as it was expected on January 13th! Like everyone else, I have been online everyday since the release date trying to purchase one and happened to get lucky on December 18th during the timeframe for purchase to score one.

I have Walmart and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The pre-ordering process was straight-forward, delivery was fast (quicker than expected) and the Xbox Series X itself is an amazing gaming console. I will definitely keep my Walmart membership as it came in handy for getting an Xbox Series X before Christmas!

While my Xbox arrived VERY fast and in very good condition I am very disappointed because it didn’t come with the 24 months of ultimate, and for 700 dollars you’d think they’d make it known of the requirements needed to get the 24 months of Ultimate. I’m upset and I will be returning and getting the smaller version.

Great console with incredible speed. Load times are virtually eliminated, even with graphically demanding games. Variable refresh rate keeps a consistent 60fps no matter what goes on on-screen. Coming from the original Xbox One it seems like an Xbox One 2.0. However, support for games that are Series X/S enhanced is scarce. No new games at launch. Also Xbox could have updated the Home Screen to feel more next-gen. Overall I would recommend this console to Xbox fans but I would wait until they become more readily available in 6 mo. - 1 yr.

Three things I can’t live without anymore thanks to the Series X Quick Resume, Fast Load times, and fast downloads. The graphics are beautiful and the frame rate is 60 or better, but my favorite is Xbox Gamepass, the affordable service of games and subscriptions like EA Play, first part games like Halo, Gears, Bethesda games, and the new game Outriders.

It's nothing revolutionary so don't get too excited, but if you enjoy super short load times, beautiful lighting, and super smooth gameplay, then it'll definitely improve your experiences. Is pretty big so you might need to find a designated spot or buy a shelf to put it on so it has room to breathe. Other than that, it's just the same system you know and love.

So far the hype is legit and completely worth it. A lot of bad reviews are because of non purchase and neglect of the console but listen to me. This is the most powerful and 120hz consistent console to exist. the slick boxy design resembles that of an actual pc and allows for great storage. i Highly recommend this device!

love the 60 Fps in froza horizon 4 and the game pass stuff. It's worth it. I am a pc, ps4 pro, Xbox one series x and One S owner. I love this platform, the community is more talkative to playstation imo, bf4 has more servers nad ppl on xbox. This Speicifc box works with Xbox one games, Xbox 360s games and Xbox Original 2003 games. What more could i want? HDR, A dedicated sound chip for when I get my THX amplifier. I love it, it boots with a press of a button NO LOAD TIME! If you do not have a 60 fps tv with 4k and hdr than it would not be worth upgrading to this, but I love this thing and have all of that.
