[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This item has been out of stock for a while now. I had ordered this item on Amazon and was given a delivery date. The morning of the delivery date, the item still hadn't shipped let alone out for delivery. I checked online and found the item in stock at one of our Walmarts. I cancelled my Amazon order and did curbside picked up the same day.

I have had the series x for a week now. I had just tuned on the console and began playing, about 5 minutes in the console shut off and would not power back on. After talking with Microsoft, this is a known issue. Paying $537 to be a beta tester has left a bad taste in my mouth. I've owned every other Xbox and they have always gotten better at every step. Series x is no different the graphics and speed are great, the look of the console is meh. I feel they just rushed to market and their quality control is lacking. Good luck on your purchase I hope you don't have to wait 2 weeks to get yours back from Microsoft repair center like me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been debating upgrading from my current Xbox 360 but, the price was a sticking point for me. I needed something that could play my Xbox 360 game discs and the S model does not have a disc drive. I am so glad that I waited and was able to purchase it now for a much cheaper price.

I love my Series X. This Xbox does everything. Its an all in one entertainment system. Game pass, Apps, library of games, 4K, fast load times, supports Dolby Vision/Atmos, HDR10/10 , HDMI 2.1, Variable Refresh Rate, comes with 1TB hard drive, plug external Hard Drive/1TB expansion card for more storage, and one series x controller which feels great to hold. Supports 4K 60Hz/FPS to 120Hz/FPS TVs and gameplay. Since Ive owned this system Its impressed me with excellent graphics and performance overall. But I will say the games are coming slower for X/S until this summer when we'll get lots more games. Gamepass is the best value with this system.

Just powered everything up and all is well. Havent had a chance to experience the high speed functionality but I did want to say that while I was a little upset that my initial order was delayed WalMart did a good job of filling the order and having it delivered in a timely manner. I honestly didnt expect it to show up as quick as it did but WalMart did a good job a rectifying the delay.

First I have to give Walmart credit for the process and the drop. Once you have a Series X, this is when you find out (1) do you have the ULTRA HDMI cables you will need to support 4k@120Hz, (2) If your running your sound through your AV (Denon X4500H for me), does the HDMI pass thru support on your AV support 4k@120Hz (mine does not). It would take a minimum of 2000 dollars to get an AV that does and this is the low end, example Marantz SR7015. The point is to max the video produced by the Series X, take a look at ALL your components before you commit. I got it all working eventually, XBox HDMI to Sony XR-65A80J gets me 4k@120Hz, then the eARC HDMI connection from my AV to my TV gives me the sound. All HDMI cables were upgraded to ULTRA High HDMI (the Series X comes with one). So in the end, it was a interesting setup I am happy.

It’s almost too good to be true. Don’t get it unless you have the right set up though or you’ll be waiting your money. Make sure you have a 4K 60hz or 120hz display with low latency mode. If you don’t have that it’ll be a waste unless you just want fast load times. But it’s worth every penny.

I've only had it a couple of days now haven't done anything more with it than with the series S I got 7 years ago the download speeds are slightly better but I mean very slight it's far as once and restarted while playing chivalry 2 just wish I would have went with a PS5 instead

Although it took a while for it to get here due to the winter storm that delayed deliveries, I'm so glad that I finally get to experience the next gen tech from Xbox. Everything loads so fast it boggles the mind, and all the games run and play better than before with the increases framerate and 4k graphics, it's like a whole new experience. Can't imaging ever going back to previous gen!
