I surprisingly won on a release date and the xbox was shipped days earlier than expected which was a plus. The process of course of trying to add to cart was a fail on many previous attempts but just refreshing and a quick check out seemed to work. Xbox itself was a gift and my boyfriend loves it. He has it hooked up to his 4K TV and the quality of games are great. The updates to previous games do take up ALOT of space so i assume a drive of some kind will be needed at some point. But i'm no pro.

Walmart seems to always have the best price and you can trust the item is legit. Used to never get protection plans or warranties, but have gotten them on the last 5-6 electronic items. No hassles so far. Xbox was $50 cheaper than anywhere else and it’s new, not a refurb or weird knockoff item like on Shamazon.

If you want a console that feels next gen, is user friendly and sits discretely in the background doing it's job well, this is the box for you. I usually play one large, involved game (AC: Valhalla) and also have another lighter game (Donut County) on standby as a pallet cleanser when I'm stuck and need a break. quick resume makes switching between them fast and easy. Load times are reduced, but not gone. However, it's a VERY noticable difference. The newest version of the controller is light, slightly smaller and textured. Xbox had always had the best controller on the business and this is an improvement on perfection. I prefer this to my Elite. Set up is fast and easy through the Xbox app. Pair this console with Game Pass Ultimate and it's just about perfect.

So any tv will work with this system. 1080p , 4k or 8k. However in order to take full advantage of this console you will want a 4k or 8k tv. TCL 5 and 6 series along with Vizio m and p series work great with this system. You can check xbox com to see which tvs will fully support the system. Compatible 4k tvs will give you HDR and everything else except 120hz if you tv is one Hdmi 2.0. if your tv is Hdmi 2.1 you get everything it offers but I believe on my some tvs are 2.1 and I believe they are 8k. None the less you will be happy and remember that this system also plays all games supported on xbox one including xbox 360 and original xbox games. What's more is that it will upgrade the resolution and give you HDR . One last thing, do not pay more than $499.99 before taxes. If you see higher prices it's a scalper and you will not only get ripped off, but will run into warranty issues . Let them sit on $15,000.00 of hardware they purchased to discourage scalping. Other than that have fun.

So I jumped on the opportunity quickly because I bet there were multiple people seeing the same thing. It is a fantastic console and to see Walmart make a price adjustment like that is amazing for people that may not be able to afford the full prices that other stores are currently selling the console for, so thank you.

I have a 4k Samsung TV. The visuals and improved frame rate of the Series X were noticeably better than the Xbox One X I have been using. Also, set up was very simple and the unit is exceptionally quiet as well. I am pleased with the purchase (which was not easy to attain by the way because of supply problems). Lastly, Walmart did a good job in handling and shipping the unit on time.

What I like: performance is truly next level. Games download quickly, game performance is elite and super smooth, and its just fun to use in general! What I dont like: I expected the interface to be updated from the Xbox one version, since it is a new system. I was hoping for a new look to the Home Screen. Kind of seems like an upgraded Xbox one instead of an entirely new system.

Finally upgraded to the Xbox Series X and couldn’t be happier! There was one left in the case brand new. I was worried that it was part of a 3rd party but I made sure and I’m the only owner to the console. Packaging was pretty good. Can’t wait to restart my gaming adventures again!

I ordered this xbox for my son's 7th birthday. He has autism on the high side of the spectrum. He has asked practically every day for the last 3 years ( Not an exaggeration,) It arrived on our doorstep in the actual xbox packaging 4 days before his birthday and was the very first person to see it arrive. That was very dissapointing. I would have loved very much to capture that moment on video to cherish forever. That xbox cost over $500 and i had to save up for years to be able to give that to him. It cost so much that he ended up not having any presents to open on his birthday and it was heartbreaking, because he watched his sister open a bunch of presents 2 weeks before that. The xbox came in the xbox box when it should have come in a generic walmart box. Aside from the birthday boy getting his present early, whose to say we werent home at the time. An xbox series x in the xbox packaging was left on the porch for any porch pirate to take. So disappointing that i made the decision to buy $1069.76 worth of school clothes and supplies on Amazon this year. I have never done that before. Walmart was my goto for that every single year. Sorry.
