It seems like a pretty beefy and good console, but the way that someone can go about purchasing one is terrible. Scalpers will just setup some bots to buy out all of them upon each restock, and if you don't use bots, you need to have crazy luck or a friend in Walmart or Microsoft. SMH

So after the long wait i finally got my hands on the new Xbox X, to find out it overheats and shuts down after about 20 minutes into a game. From what I've read online the new games draws so such power it trips a safety sensor on the new system shutting it down. This is ridiculous, after months of build up you would think they'd have these issues fixed. If you're gonna spend this kinda of money buy the PS5,everyone i know that was lucky enough to get one hasn't had any problems like this! $550 for Xbox series x i can't even play!

A great improvement over my older Xbox One S. The interface is faster and more snappy, but there are still some weird glitches where you start up a game and it hangs on the splash screen for a few seconds before it kicks you back to the home menu, then you have to boot up the game again. I also own a PS5 and I’ve gotta say that the PS5 feels like a more premium quality product overall, with more exclusive games that I like. This SeriesX is also slower to load up games or fast travel in games than what I’m used to on PS5. So what do I like about the SeriesX? I like what they’ve done with GamePass. It offers a nice variety of games. It would have been nice if they would have given you a free month of it or at least a free couple weeks when you shell out $500 for the console, but you’re basically stuck playing old games from your library or need to pony up more money to purchase something to play. Games I’ve enjoyed so far are Flight Simulator, Halo Infinite, Forza Horizon 5, and Tunic. Remote play works great and allows you to stream your games to your phone for when you want to just play in bed to wind down. Another feature I like is Quick Resume, which allows you to quickly swap between different games without needing to load the entire game again and navigate through the title screen. You’re just quickly back where you left off. Overall, I think Microsoft has done a decent job with this console. There are just a few Microsoft-ish bugs that pop up here and there that hold it back a bit. And they’re very slow at releasing exclusive games, but hopefully that picks up since they’ve been acquiring so many large video game companies now—a practice I tend to frown upon, since it polarizes the industry into more of an oligopoly situation. If you’ve enjoyed the Xbox ecosystem, you can’t go wrong upgrading to the SeriesX. If you’re moving from a PS4 to a next gen console, I would recommend sticking with a PS5. But I think it also depends on what exclusives you want to play. You’re getting a good overall experience either way.

Overall easy ordering and delivery process. Console runs great and arrived sealed/ undamaged. My only issue with the console and why I gave it 4 stars, is the price. I think $500 for a console and then changing $70 for games is a bit much. I enjoy Xbox so the price wasn’t a deal breaker, I would however never pay over MSRP for this console, simply wait for the price to drop . If you are buying for younger children or maybe not that invested in games then switch to the Series S.

Every 30 min ur sound will cut out and it wont come back till u restart the console and the console crashes way too much and when it does the controlled disconnects and the only way to connect it again is to take the batteries out and put them back in

OMG!!! RDR2 LOOKS AMAZINGLY LIFE LIKE! Jumped from Xbox One X to Series X and graphics, refresh rate, SSD speed with extra Seagate expansion card ( highly recommend) are getting close in performance to my PC graphics and speed. 1/6th the price!! OMG!!! Worth every penny. I hope in the future Microsoft will design a system with a larger storage capacity that will allow the same speed as internal storage with an external SSD. Game sizes ( top programming ones) are topping 200GB!!! I stated building PCs when I had 1.4mb floppy disc's and Police Quest by Sierra had a whopping 5 disc's come with it and it took a good 5 plus minutes to load on my HUGE 100mb internal HDD!! Lol. Anyway, great job Microsoft on an amazing system for such a cheap price to purchase and enjoy. BTW, RED DEAD now loads at least twice as fast along with Sea of thieves. Both have less lag than the Xbox one X. Now I need to purchase my LG C series 65 inch to get my 4k at 120hz. My Sony XBR only handles that 120 hz with 1080p setting. Disney app 4k looks awesome too! Great all in one system. Thank you Microsoft! Hopefully no new bug like the ring of death on the first Xbox 360 pops up but no issues since released date. Hopefully enough systems can be built for all players interested. Now let's get a premium programming people for us Xbox loyal customers!! Now all we need is cable companies to QUIT LIMITING OUR INTERNET DATA TO 1TB per month without a surcharge!!! Our world now all use multiple gadgets to access the internet.

Love the speediness, Picture quality, and over all the artistical appearance and practical performance of the beautiful xbox series x has exceeded my expectations. Very blessed to have received this at $500 unfortunately a couple years too late thats why this deserves a 3 star because it was shorted for a very long time,

After a year and a half I was finally able to grab one of these and at retail price. Ordered it on the 25th and was delivered today. Was delayed by 2 days so not that bad. Works great, no problems so far. If this is still in stock then grab one while you can and just have patience.

I ordered a new Xbox Series X even yhough i still have my XBS. because i liked the speed and graphics blew old one away. I was concerned that it may be out during this pandemic. So i placed the order midweek and behold i received it on a mid Sunday. Minimum wait of 2-3 days, free shipping. Havent operated it yet since technically not Xmas yet but the delivery was great.

It's now possible to get an Xbox Series X now for retail price folks! The PS5 is still being heavily scalped, but the Series X as of the time of this review is now obtainable. I don't have any special memberships, or anything like that, and I was able to snag one. I wanted a PS5 first this generation, but paying double simply will not cut it for me, so Xbox it is! Super stoked to finally be on next gen. Get them while you can folks. This is the real deal!
