This Xbox Series X was a gift to my son on Christmas. I was frustrated with the availability as all of us trying to buy one. It is expensive but worth it for Christmas. Now, the whole family can enjoy it too. The delivery was so fast. I had to buy game and extra controller.

Picked the Series X on launch day, set it up and download a couple of games to test it out. Amazingly fast boot up sequence and launch into the games. Also love the new textured grips on the back of the controller. The unit is whisper quiet and stayed cool. Can't wait to setup the PS5 next, picking it up tomorrow. The only down side is that small SSD is going to run out real fast with these newer/larger games.

So I bought this new Xbox X the day after Christmas from Walmart.com and its less than 60 days old. The system started a system Udate and has been stuck in a Updating loop for over a week at the same 58%. We have attempted all troubleshooting and still stuck.

My four star review is because of the confusion with backward compatible games. Its not our first time setting up a new Xbox, but Microsoft could have made the set up much simpler by explaining the difference between disc backward compatible games and those purchased online. Dont try putting the disc into the old console to transfer, it wont work. The disc must be installed using the new console even if its a game you played on the old console. The player achievements will show up under your player profile and will not be lost.

I have this console, as well as the PS5. As far as it goes, they both match up the same, but the controllers are extremely different. The PS5's controller is fantastic, but the one for the Xbox sucks and has broken in like a week. And I've been actively using the PS5 controller since release day, and it is perfectly fine. The only reason I give this two stars instead of one is because the console is still very good.

This product does not come with game pass ultimate unlike how it says in the images. Do not pay for this product it is overpriced and will not provide you with the additional services advertised. The 24 months of game pass ultimate was the main reason I chose this specific console; however, the game pass ultimate plan is only available with a citizen one loan that will damage your credit score. Again, even though this Xbox is the same price as the all-access program, it will not provide you with a game pass ultimate

Day one delivery. Up and running within minutes after using the Xbox iOS app on my iPhone for setup and Game Pass Ultimate for games. The Series X is much smaller than I was expecting. Plenty of room for it horizontally on my shelf. Very happy customer!

Buyer beware this was purchased through Walmart from what appears to be some third party vendor. Unit did not work right out of the box. Spent all of 2 hours setting and resetting from scratch, utilizing internet suggestions for determining and eliminating cause. To no avail. Very concerning with something this expensive.

I absolutely love it!! Previous console was an Xbox one S going from that to this one is like night and day. The graphics are phenomenal!! That being said the only game I personally play is PUBG and this console is definitely a game changer for it! I haven’t lagged out of a ranked match once since I set it up which was over a month ago. I used to lag out of rank matches at least once a day. There’s no dsync so like I’m not getting shot before I even see the other person. Now as for the headset debate. Many good players run Astro a40s me being one of them. I kept hearing I wouldn’t be able to use them on series x or they wouldn’t be any good anymore. They were all wrong. This console does not come with an optical port that part is true. However I simply plugged my optical port into my tv and bam they worked just as good as they did on One S. I didn’t even update them yet. Not a single difference from One S. If you don’t have the optical port there is also an adapter you can purchase. That being said I absolutely love my series x and would highly recommend it!

Xbox has created the fastest, most powerful, and most graphically beautifully console to date. They learned from their mistakes with the Xbox one and they did not disappoint this time. The Xbox Series X is the best console money can buy, but dont take my word
