Great gaming console. though if you are on the fence about buying an X or S, just save your money go with an S. Both work great, and if you buy the memory cards needed to store more games, you will come out ahead. X is super fast though and can’t wait to see games that actually use the X to the full potential unlike today’s games

A big step up from the Xbox One. I'm impressed with the power and speed of this console. Also, the instant resume feature is the best and allows you to get in the game much faster even after having the console powered off completely. Highly Recommend!

I do not have extensive experience with gaming consoles and this is only the second one I have owned. The previous was the Xbox one s, because it came free with my tv. I say this so you know my level of experts around the machine. My concern is that some of the Xbox games weren’t functioning on my current console (flight sim, elder ring won’t, and I haven’t purchased yet) and cyberpunk and other games cause the fan to scream to keep the system cool. So, I saw that Walmart had the hard to get consoles available, and I decided to upgrade. The difference? I can switch between my games without a full boot up every time. This has been amazing. I’m now more comfortable with switching between games because I can skip the long boots. The fan has been unoticable with flight sim and cyberpunk. The graphics are also better in cyberpunk and Witcher 3. Red dead I didn’t notice a huge difference, but looked good. Load screens are faster. Some are significantly faster with much less down time. Cyberpunk has not crashed on me with the new system where my one s crashed every 30-60 minutes. Is it worth the price and should you switch? For me, the convenience of speed, better stability, and ability to switch between commonly played games without a boot up make it worth it. Cloud gaming isn’t perfect and I tried that on my old machine. I ran into pixelation and lag at times. Not horrible, but not perfect. The game pass offers a lot of flexibility with games, to experiment. I really appreciate this. Why four stars? I thought there would be a bigger leap in the load speed, while nice I was hoping for more. There are also a lot of really good games unavailable on the Xbox. So, I knocked off a star for those two things. Fair or not that entered into how I personally rate things. The lack of vr is also annoying. I don’t want to sell my information to Facebook and I really with Microsoft could get their act together with vr. Ultimately, only you can decide what’s right for you, but I’m glad I made the purchase despite the flaws. Game pass keeps me engaged and as I don’t game a lot, all of this works for me.

Only 4* because I'm not a pc gamer and I don't like computers I don't use them an this looks like a pc tower :-\. I love how fast it loads and looks great can't wait to purchase my 1st Xbox series x game though because currently I'm playing Xbox one games because why pay more for the same thing when I have both and I can play the games in the family room with kids on Xbox one or in the bedroom more mature games with my wife on the xsx. I do like the Xbox series x design so much more it actually looks like a video games console but doesn't actually play anything besides games you digitally licensed and I'm not wanting money licensing digital games have game pass to stream games but I don't download them on my Xbox 360, Xbox one or Xbox series x they take too much space. Hopefully when they put out a half-life redesign it's not ugly as feck PC tower looks so out of place with my other 19 consoles why I lay the ps5 horizontal vertical it looks like a stupid router :-\ . Don't know what Microsoft was thinking with the design

Xbox series x is a must! I have had my new Xbox for about 3 months now and can say that this is the first time in along time I picked the right tech for sure. “About time!” I have a few friends that wanted to know why I did not go the PS5 route. I can say with all the issues from fans to hard drives bricking the system, it is nice to see a gaming platform that just works. Like the tv show reading rainbow you don’t have to take my word. Please do your research on both systems, they are a investment. Happy Xbox guy here. ( former PS4 and PS4 pro)

I am glad I was patient and was able to purchase at the original price (not third party scalper inflated) and enjoying the speed the games and apps load. The clarity of the screen and action is worth the cost. This system was purchased primarily to play flight simulator. However we have benefit from how well the rest of the games play and look.

I bought this for my boyfriend. I have no idea how I ended up getting my hands on one but all in all, he loves it. He's always mentioning the graphics and how the reaction time is quicker. I was so pleased with this purchase and am so happy that I got one!

Had in check and couldn't finish..have been trying since midnight..just want one, doesn't seem right that they are selling for over 1000, on Amazon and Ebay..most of us just want one system for Christmas gifts..sure would be nice to limit amount people can buy...

Nice design. Software is really great compared to the PS5. "Quick Resume" Being able to have multiple games "loaded" at the same time so you can switch between games is a major new feature. "Smart Delivery" Always getting the best version of the game for whichever xbox console you use is great. Don't have to worry about upgrade paths and all that with many xbox games. PS5 doesn't have this delivery system which makes downloading the correct version surprisingly complicated

The product itself is fine. The issue we had was with the shipping company, Lasership. If you are looking to purchase an XBox Series X and it is being shipped by lasership, either plan to spend the next several weeks chasing your item down or cancel the shipment immediately!! Lasership has extremely poor reviews through the BBB but this company was automatically selected to deliver to us. First, we were given an expected arrival date of the 14th. With this company’s reputation, my husband planned to take that day off from work so he could be home for the delivery. We were concerned that “signature required” would be ignored and the item just left at our door and stolen OR they would attempt to deliver it and it would become “lost” back at the warehouse. The second being more likely based off the complaints. We then get an alert the delivery was changed and would be arriving tomorrow (2 weeks early…YAY!) We rushed to figure out how to be home for this change. All day, nothing. No delivery. Status of our item showed it was at the warehouse 10 minutes from our house. Next status update was posted at 10pm on the expected arrival date and said shipment is delayed. Since that specific warehouse has no listed phone number, we called the main warehouse the next morning. That person informed us that she confirmed with the driver that the item will be delivered within the hour as we are the first stop. We were unable to pick it up ourselves as it was already loaded on the truck and on the road. 3 hours, still waiting for our delivery. Hour 4, we call the main warehouse again. What is going on?? She said the driver will stop what he is doing and bring it now. 10 minutes later, driver arrives with our delivery, aggressively tosses it at my husband, says nothing, and drives away. He didn’t even get a signature from my husband! The box was quite damaged as well. Luckily, the Xbox itself was not damaged. It’s no wonder this company has so many complaints on them.
