Over priced bundle

Walmart is only selling the consoles to those who purchase Xbox subscription. But Xbox subscription is available separately and if anyone purchases this bundle at $35 per month for 24 months, then they will be over paying by $200. Effectively be paying interest even when this is being passed off as an interest free offer.

4K gamepass machine has something for everyone!

Just came from the Series S, enjoyed it so much I upgraded to the higher end Series X. If you’re looking for 4K gaming and blazing fast load times, this is the console for you. Coupled with a 15 dollar a month gamepass ultimate subscription, you have one of the best values in gaming today.

Amazing gaming system

So happy with my Xbox Series X. I gave up on building a new gaming Pc because of shortages and I’m a happy Xbox customer now. The graphics look at least as good as my old 1080ti and now I’m getting 4k/60fps with HDR on my Samsung QN90A. Quick resume is an under appreciated feature. Thank you Walmart for finally developing an efficient queueing system

Don't Listen to the Negative Reviewers

Don't listen to the negative reviewers who don't understand what lemons are. I've been with Xbox since Halo first came out on the original console. Every console generation has proved better than the last. This one is right up there if not exponentially better. My load times have improved so much that I can't even go get a drink or snack while loading anymore. So much more game time. When you're a dad, that time matters. You never know when your kid is gonna go wild and you have to step away to deal with it. Or the wife needs you to do something. Were there some hiccups initially with the software, yes. But it wasn't on xbox's part. The games I chose to play needed certain fixes to allow them to work properly. After those updates for the games (not the xbox) took place things were great. One notable thing that saves a ton of time is Quick Resume. I believe it's up to four games. I pause a game, go play some COD with some buddies, then come back to my paused game and pick up where I left off. Loading a game can take ages sometimes so this cuts down on that tremendously. If you manage to get one of these. You will not be disappointed. Cheers all, CMF

1 TB EXPANDABLE, SSD, digital Xbox series X review

I am a 56 year old mom of a 15 year old that doesn’t play video games. So I had to do a lot of research and asked my sons’ friends for help to pick out an Xbox for him. The Xbox x graphics are huge improvement from older models. My sons’ Friends said x version was worth it. They prefer digital. and with 1 TB storage that’s even expandable he is super thrilled over that. I was able to pick out all features that he preferred and is enjoying. He never played video games much before. He prefers sports and being outside, but now if he is stuck at home he’s not bored anymore and has something to do and connect with his friends. He loves it . I hope he’s able to enjoy it as long as his old Xbox.

excellent console!!

I was watching the countdown because my son has been saving up for this console. my husband was using his phone and I was on mine hoping one of us could at least get through and get one! My husband got it! you need to be reallllly fast for these pre-orders! like lightning fast because seriously within 45 seconds they were all sold out. He went to the store to pick it up and they had only 6! yes only 6 available at the store! I would think they should have a lot more than 6 to meet the demand but nope! anyway, got this baby home and my son is hooked! he absolutely loves the graphics . it really is an amazing console

The latest in gaming

Basic setup was easy, although you will have to go into the sub menus if you want to enable the highest settings, like 120 frames per second and the variable refresh rate. (The same goes for your television. The high performance mode needs to be turned on manually.) I have only tried a couple of games so far. Other than the much longer download times, everything else about the game play looks better and runs more smoothly. The instant resume function is nice as well. The console remembers exactly where you left off in your game and loads immediately. Now I just need an upgraded sound system with the latest Dolby standards to make the experience complete!

WAY Faster load times compared to the Xbox One!

The Xbox series X feels like a continuation of the Console’s I’ve owned over the past 3 console generations. The biggest change I feel with this generation is the switch to Solid State Drives over Hard Disk Drives, Improving the general load time in menus and loading screens. One feature I extremely like using this advantage is Quick Resume, the ability to start right where you were last in gameplay without having to go through the main title screen. There is also a noticeable power difference between the Series S and X, With the S capping out at 1440p resolution and the X at 8k resolution (but there is minimal support at the moment, making it more of a 4k console) being able to take advantage of most high end tvs on the market. When resolution doesn’t matter these new consoles have HDMI 2.1 not only giving higher resolutions, but higher frame rates up to 120fps in games that support it (note: your TV will also need the new HDMI 2.1 Port). Having a disc drive is also another advantage with the Series X, Allowing Me to play my old physical xbox, xbox 360, and xbox one games that are supported with backwards compatibility! All in all I’d say that the Series X is a great buy, especially with people in the industry saying not to expect anything new till 2027-2028…

Complete disappointment

I was expecting more from the Xbox Series X, but as it turns out it functions exactly like my Xbox One except with faster load times, not worth the 499 i spent. On the plus side my xbox one controllers work with it. If your looking for the exact same Xbox One experience with a little bit faster load times this is for you.

Xbox series X worth the price

Got this Xbox series X its pretty awesome. Even though Xbox doesn't have those must have exclusive games it makes up for it on the game pass I have downloaded like 15 games for free and I enjoyed pretty much all of them especially the ones that are Xbox series x/s optimized. It run awesome no issues as of yet be cautious of call of duty Cold War it crashed my Xbox like five times so wait until they make it run smoother before you play that. Every other games runs just fine.

Hey Daniel -- We're glad that you're enjoying your new Xbox Series X and Xbox Game Pass. If you're still experiencing an issue when playing Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, we recommend updating your copy of the game to the latest version. Activision Support has fixed a bug in which the game was crashing when played at 4K resolution. Hope that helps! --Chuck, Xbox Customer Care
