Charged all night and it worked once. Hasn’t taken a charge since. After hours on the charger, it comes on with a red light then shuts off after 5 or ten seconds. 🙁 So, it doesn’t work and I have a useless pack of ridiculously expensive refills.I bought. The device was a gift, so no receipt for it, out of luck I guess. It was a gift so I don’t have a receipt - I’m out of luck I guess.

What a huge disappointment, we have the old butane version and it works incredibly well. But, the butane canisters are expensive and we would frequently forget to turn them off after a fun night at the pool with friends. So the new version seemed like a win, no butane and a 5 hour shut off. But no, I sat outside for 5 minutes with this one running on full charge and I can see the mosquitos landing on me. Please take this back and refund me with the old version.

I bought this about a month ago for around our pool! We live in Louisiana where the mosquito are our “yard birds!” This works great! I would definitely recommend this hands down. We were able to enjoy a day/night by the pool without having to worry about being bite!

I'd love to give this product 5 stars because it definitely helped keep most mosquitos away but the issue I had was keeping it charged. It comes with the charger but this little device would not stay charged for us. It also comes with a 12 HR refill which is nice. There was a decrease in the mosquitos but it's not fool proof we still received some bites but nonetheless it did work to an extent.

We used this on both our back porch in Chicago and up north in Wisconsin and it definitely kept the mosquitos away. It was convenient to bring with us. The charge is easy and the install of cartilage is simply. I like at night, when you shine a light you can just see a long of bugs but this little things keeps them at a distance. I look forward to bringing it camping with us in a couple weekends.

I spent a lot of time searching for the best mosquito repellent for my backyard and I kept seeing that Thermacell was ranked the best option. I ended up buying the rechargeable one and used it (fully charged) last night and it offered absolutely zero coverage f from mosquitos. I kept telling my guests, “oh it takes a few minutes to kick in”, and “it offers a 20 ft shield from mosquitos”. None of that happened. Mosquitos were up in our face, biting us all night long. I gave it a second chance tonight…same thing. My guests ended going inside because they could not stand it. Terrible product - will not buy again or recommend it.

I bought this a few weeks ago, immediately charged it and then didn’t get a chance to use it. I grabbed it earlier this week and was disappointed to find the battery dead even though it hadn’t been turned on since charging it. I charged it again for 2 days. Took it outside tonight while enjoying a fire on my patio and with the thermacell sitting on the arm of my chair, I was swarmed by mosquitoes and got multiple bites. We have used Thermacell products since the company started and own multiple units. This rechargeable liquid solution is the worse item I have ever used. I would have been better to just light a citronella candle.

This is a great mosquito repeller to have for outdoors and camping. The repeller is easy to recharge and there is no mess to refill. It works great on the patio and keeps the mosquitos away while we are hanging out in the backyard. This small device does not put of any smoke or smells plus we don't have use spray ourselves when this is out.

I bought the thermacell without telling my husband because he wouldn’t believe it works. Sure enough, the moment the package arrived he started with his negative comments. As the sun began to set I turned it on and for the first time we stayed outside until almost midnight without turning on candles, a fire, or spraying ourselves. Not one mosquito bite. Now we take it with us whenever we’re invited to a cookout and people laugh at us until they start getting bitten and we’re sitting comfortably next to our thermacell. For that reason I’m buying another one and ditching the tiki torches and candles. It works. It works great. It allows us to use our back yard without smelling like a fire pit or bug spray.

Really appreciate the repellant functionality, upgraded from the small personal unit that uses the blue wafers, but after one use for a single hour, I shut the unit off and came back the next day to find 2/3 of the fluid had leaked out of the tank in a puddle underneath. Do I need to replace the cap on the wick after each use? Thinking about retuning for refund, can’t afford to lose the expensive fluid at this rate
