I have only used this product one time, but did not experience any insects during the one hour usage. I previously used another model of a Thermacell repellent but it stopped working. It was about seven years old and worked great. This was the newest model so I figured I'd try it out!

I’ve been really happy with my Thermacell mosquito repellent. It works well at keeping mosquitoes away, and I noticed a big difference when using it outside. It’s easy to use, doesn’t have a strong smell, and lets me enjoy sitting outdoors without constantly getting bitten. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an effective mosquito repellent.

Works excellent at keeping pesky insects, especially our Manitoban mosquitoes, away when trying to enjoy our short summers in Winnipeg Canada! Love the thermacells! Bought a few a few years ago for our yard, our son's yard and my daughter takes them camping. Love love love they work fantastic. My husband was skeptical when I first bought them years ago, now he's a believer.

Easy to set up and use. A couple notes. First is that you do want to turn it on 10min or so prior to expecting the area to be mosquito free. Second comment is about the winds. Yes during prolonged wind the bugs don't bite, but anything beyond a very, very light breeze starts to dissipate. I may pick up a second unit to better blanket the zone.

This is our second Thermacell Mosquito Repellent item. We use it daily from hanging out on the patio, cooking out, watching sports, and letting the dogs in and out of the house. It is a great product and very easy to use. Charge it, turn it on, and forget it!

we used this for a housewarming party outside in upstate New York and it got rid of all of the bugs and nobody was getting bit which was a win for us! It is so much easier and better than bug spray and nobody goes home feeling oily, greasy and smelling like bug spray.

These are great when nothing else keeps the mosquitos away. We have struggled for several years and decided to purchase one of these last summer near the end of summer. When the malicious mosquitoes returned again this year we purchased 2 more and so far no itching from their bites.

We have bought the first generation and then moved to these. They are great and really make a difference, however, they are expensive. We just got a new one and it must have been a dud because we have only used it a few times and upon charging it, it just stopped working. It would have been a 4.5 but for this.

I've had a Thermacell for a while. The last purchase I made was for 18 hrs. (2). I turned it on about an hour before I went outside and, an hour later, have about 10 mosquito bites. This may be good for “lesser” mosquitoes, but for Texas mosquitoes, it just doesn't work.

I was so excited to get a Thermacell with longer battery life. It didn't seem to be working; today I picked it up to recharge and there is oil everywhere. The first time, I thought it must have gotten knocked over accidentally. This time I know it wasn't. So I have a half full 36 hour refill and a useless appliance.
