It seems to be ok so far. The only complaint I have is it tends to bow near edge when weight is put on it suggesting it's too thin not to distort. I would look for something thinker if it was available.

Thinner than I thought it would be, but seems to do the trick. I wish it came in a bigger size, as I have a large corner desk and I roll from side to side. I've only had it a few weeks, so time will tell.

Actually, Wal-Mart is not showing the item I bought. I am not sure what's wrong with their records. I purchased a larger polycarbonate office mat, and paid a total of $113. I purchased a polycarbonate floor mat for the first time in 2011 from Staples. It was exactly the same mat that I bought now from Wal-Mart to replace the old one. I saved about 1/3 by buying it at Wal-Mart. You may think that 4 years is not a long-lived floor mat, and, yes, it cracked eventually under heavy use, but I know that it's an excellent item. I'll never go back to vinyl products. Think “POLYCARBONATE”…

Went to the store to pick it up. Mat was much thinner then I thought it should be and also seemed to have a fair amount of "flex". I was expecting something thicker and more rigid-wanting to have my chair wheels on a good rolling surface. Consequently I did not accept delivery.

Our chair mat sits atop carpet using an antique banker's style chair. The chair rolls easily on this mat. Thus far, there are no indentations in the thick mat from the chair casters, and no curving or buckling where the mat meets the desk's edges. The only drawback I can comment on is it does tend to slide a bit and needs to be re-positioned occasionally. Overall, we are very satisfied with this purchase.
