After several days of research I determined that the Floortex Cleartex was the highest quality carpet protector chairmat. It is polycarbonate and that is the toughest of the materials they use in chairmats. I am totally satisfied with this purchase and am glad I took the time to research it.

I've only had this floor mat for the past week but it looks like a great product that will stand up to constant use. I previously had one of those cheap plastic mats from Ikea and went through several of them. They always left white wheel marks on the mat and the last one cracked right in the middle making it useless. This new poly- carbonate mat looks great, has nice plastic cleats on the bottom which grip my carpet tightly and lays completely flat. So far I'm thrilled with this item and would highly recommend it despite being a bit costly.

Seems to be stronger than the mats I've use before. I've only had it a couple of months, but so far it hasn't cracked, of left a low spot where the chair wheels rest.

This arrives in a very large, flat cardboard package. I didn't realize it would be too stiff to be packed as a roll. It took quite a bit of effort to force it into my small car; I advise planning ahead if you drive a small vehicle.

We have purchased this item three times for home use on thick carpet and are very pleased with durability and look. Sam's ships very fast and packaging has prevented any transport damage.

This is an excellent product. The carpet shows through, the chair moves smoothly over the surface, and it shows that it will last for many years.

I like the fact that this was a large square rather than the odd shape of most mats. I had a large area to cover and I used it with my older mat to cover a rather large area. This new mat seems smoother and my office chair just glides on it. Very happy with it.

This chair mat is sturdy, does not bend, slide or curl up on the sides. I have a high pile rug and it works extremely well without any sliding. I wish I had found this earlier as I went through two other types of chair mats that I had to throw out because of curling and sliding problems.

I was excited to receive this mat, as I had high hopes that it would work in our carpeted room. After about 30 minutes of use, the mat began crack in places. In less than a week, I had a few cracks and after a couple weeks in, there are many. I am not impressed with this product and feel like I just threw my money away.
