This Floortex Cleartex Ultimate Polycarbonate Chair Mat represents the ultimate in quality and durability in floor protection and ergonomics. This mat protects your carpeted floors from general wear and damage caused by casters on rolling chairs. A caster based chair can roll up to 7 miles a year around your desk area flooring, causing permanent damage to your valuable flooring. Floortex original polycarbonate chair mats provide the very best protection to extend the life of your flooring.
These high clarity clear chair mats for carpeted flooring are made from Floortex Original polycarbonate, which has double the impact strength of PVC and will not crack, curl, discolor or smell.
The perfectly flat and hard surface provides easy glide movement of caster based chairs which can reduce leg fatigue and lower back strain. Ultimat is environmentally safe, free from phthalates and free from PVC. It's an ideal choice for people with allergies.
The mats are produced using eco-friendly manufacturing with 50% of our manufacturing site’s energy coming from on-site and external renewable sources. These mats are also 100% recyclable. Our polycarbonate chair mats lie perfectly flat from delivery and can be used immediately.

Best chair mat for carpet I found
After several days of research I determined that the Floortex Cleartex was the highest quality carpet protector chairmat. It is polycarbonate and that is the toughest of the materials they use in chairmats. I am totally satisfied with this purchase and am glad I took the time to research it.

Cleartex Polycarbonate Chairmat
I've only had this floor mat for the past week but it looks like a great product that will stand up to constant use. I previously had one of those cheap plastic mats from Ikea and went through several of them. They always left white wheel marks on the mat and the last one cracked right in the middle making it useless. This new poly- carbonate mat looks great, has nice plastic cleats on the bottom which grip my carpet tightly and lays completely flat. So far I'm thrilled with this item and would highly recommend it despite being a bit costly.

Seems to be stronger than the mats I've use before. I've only had it a couple of months, but so far it hasn't cracked, of left a low spot where the chair wheels rest.
