I really like these meatballs. This is the third time I have bought them and it is the third time I have failed to figure out how the resealable bag works. No matter where I cut the top of the bag I end up with a black plastic edge on just one side. There is no zip lock compression. What am I doing wrong? I always end up just putting a chip lock on the bag and putting back in the freezer.

I've been buying frozen meatballs from Sam's for many years even before it became the private label version currently offered. I just finished oven baking a full bag (6 lbs.) on a half sheet hotel pan. Wow, I cannot believe how much oil is in the pan after cooking the full bag. I actually spilled hot oil on our kitchen floor while lifting the hot out of the oven pan onto the stovetip to cool. I'm guessing I blotted up approximately 12-16 oz. of grease from the pan. There was always some rezidual grease from cooking whole bags but I guess they are adding more fat and water in the meatball mixture now.

I didn't expect this kind of quality from Sam's club products, I found intestine and plastic looking items inside the meatballs, the meat used is not clean at all, they grind every part of the beef and make meatballs?? I guess that is the case, because no one will see and check the inside. Do not buy, just buy the beef and make yourself. Very unethical thing from Sam's club selling this unclean product.

This is my 2nd time trying these. Love the taste but I didnt realize these were bone in. Out of 10 meatballs so far ive found 4 bone shards. Very sharp and hard enough to break a tooth. 1st bag had a few but this bag seems to have a lot. Will not purchase again.

My toddler loves these which he doesn’t love anything and my mom can eat them which she has to have gluten free so I love that we can buy these in bulk. Please never stop selling them!!! I always bake them and then add them to the sauce. I find they taste better this way

Thank you for bringing back the Gluten Free version of these e-mails. The non-GF ones were "okay", but our family much prefers the recipe used in the GF ones AND since I must be GF it makes them an easier meal choice because I don't have to search for a GF alternative and fix a seperate pan of meatballs for myself.

The original version was just meat balls plain and you could make them as you like now the Italian version is to much even with marinara sauce the taste is terrible this is just another example of self serving problems that Sam club have served up to the consumer make the regular style available not everyone likes te nasty Italian style meat ball

A previous review stated that the meatballs were small and greasy since the new recipe came out as GlutenFree. The response back from the vendor was this was an isolated incident. Well, no it is not an isolated incident they are still small and greasy, they taste good thats why I gave the item 2 stars but other than that, they are not worth the fat.

These meatballs could be so good. They have a great texture and they are all beef. However, they are way too spicy. I would not purchase again as some people like to add their own seasonings and sauces to suit their tastes. You can’t mask the spicy taste that makes this not a very good meatball to me.

Our Family prefer the previous meatballs, they were a great flavor without being to strong for younger kids. This one is just a bit to strong for us. Good flavor just to strong for us all. We will have to find something else the whole family can enjoy.
