Bought this a couple of weeks ago. Setup went smoothly and runs well. Have wanted a dependable backup for some time since we are in a rather remote area. Seems like it will provide sufficient power for our emergency needs, and operation is solid and fairly quiet. I may consider it excellent after the next power outage, but I haven't fully tested its capacity yet.

After loosing power for several hours and having to throw away food, I decided it was time to ensure my energy independence. This was a great product for the price and the dual fuel capability is a huge benefit over other models. The only other option I wish it had was to be capable of operating on natural gas as well.

Worked great first time, Helene, with no issues and ran for 6 hours on propane, still had some propane left when power came back on. Went to start up in the aftermath of Milton and nothing. Called support and said it sounds like battery. Went to place to charge battery since no power and after light turned green brought it back and tried starting up, nothing... Went to check battery and dead again after only being unplugged for 10 minutes tops.

so I live in an area where there's a lot of hurricanes and anyone around here would know that the gas pumps get backed up real quick by people trying to hurry up and get gas when storms are coming so the fact that this takes propane also is going to save me a lot of time and aggravation! I love that it comes with wheels so that I can easily transport it to wherever we need to use it and that it takes regular engine oil not the two-stroke that becomes hard to find. Great purchase!

I bought two of these generators due to the great reviews. I am very pleased with the generators. I especially like the dual fuel capacity, which is one of the main reasons for my purchase. After unpacking and adding oil and fuel, they both started with the first pull. All the specs for output were right on the money. They seem very well built and run great.I am very pleased with this purchase. Thanks to Westinghouse for such a great product. I highly recommend them.

I just bought this a week ago so I haven't had to use it yet. I bought it for emergency purposes since the power failures of last February. I bought the duel fuel because it's possible to store propane for long periods of time whereas gasoline has a limited "shelf life."

I bought this generator primarily for camping. It’s a little noisier than I might like but it’s good trade off for 5000+ watts. It’s well made and easy to set up. I also love the idea of propane. My truck is a diesel and I chose this model because I like the idea of using my propane tanks on the trailer to run the generator. Not a big fan of carrying a bunch of 5 gallon containers of gas and or diesel fuel.

Well built. Bought it for the dual fuel capability, gas & propane. After opening box I found no power extension cable like I had with my first Westinghouse Generator? Have not powered up this generator yet. Added oil but waiting for a power extension cable.

generator suits storm needs very well. the duel fuel feature is a great asset and easy to use. the co shut off is a great peace of mind. the running wattage is perfect for a temporary power station in the case of a storm outage and the wheels work great for portability.

My husband did a lot of research before deciding on this one. We just had to pull it out after we lost power from Hurricane Ian. Quality is too notch and we are so pleased with the purchase! If you are a first time generator owner like us, don’t wait until you need it to open the bow! It does take some setting up before first use!
