We bought this generator in case we needed it for one of TX many storms, and sure enough we used it this past week with storm Beryl. The dual fuel came in handy when in the early hours there was no gas to be found, so we used the propane tank (which didnt last as long as regular gas does) and then we found gas at a gas station and refueled it, so both fuel types work, just the propane tank only lasted about 4 hrs. Setup was pretty easy and straight forward. The wheels come in handy for easy transportation. Overall I recommend this generator.

This Westinghouse Dual Fuel Generator which uses gasoline or propane is just what we need in case of power outages on the farm. It was also purchased with our RV in mind. Stout machine with well marked controls. Instruction booklet was easily understood. A little heavier than I expected so it looks like it will last years.

I have never owned or operated a generator before this one, and just set it up today to run on propane. I am a 225lb 40-year old male and have in the past operated some outdoor equipment which requires a pull start. I think this started on the 6th pull with the choke set to On. I was concerned about starting it up but it really wasn't an issue.

I am very pleased with this Generator. This is the 3rd generator I had to buy this week, (the other 2 were a different brand). After the oil that was included was added, I started up on the first try. I ran it without any load for the first hour to break it in. Put a load on it and works as advertised. Very pleased! I will be buying Westinghouse from now on!

Recently purchased, no power outages yet to try full operation of generator, reason for the 4 star rating. Impressive, well built generator. It starts up with one pull. Easy to use. Tested generator using some of my power tools. Works great. Purchased for my home use if power outage occurs. Quiet when running. Close my windows, turn on tv and cannot hear it running. Will update this post in the future.

The packaging is not good so it'll come damaged, i ordered it twice, both were dented on the alternator cover and the exhaust cover. Decided to keep it anyways since it ran fine. much louder than I originally thought. Otherwise its good, started on the first pull. Very Good Price. And I like the dual fuel capability.

I bought this generator less than a month ago and was very pleased with the purchase. The 4800 Watt on propane has fulfilled my needs perfectly in my RV. My only complaints are that the manual says that 240 V us available at the 4 prong twist lock only but when I tried it I had the 120V standard connector to my RV plugged in and 240 V was sent thru that connector too! This blew out various motors in my RV (evaporative water pump, fan, microwave) as well as the inverter I had hooked to my solar battery. The statement in the manual is incorrect and was very costly to me.

This was a dual Fuel, tried a new propane tank i had for my grill. Only last 8 Hours and 15 minutes. After that i switched to gas, was getting close to 14 hours on one fill up. Not sure if this one can do it, i've not found any instructions, but would be nice if i could adjust the output voltage. A bit louder than the one i've used in the past, but would recommend, for its ease of use.

I purchased this generator when we were less than 24 hours from a hurricane threatening our coast. I didn't end up needing it then, but when the freeze hit Houston in Feb 2021, I tore it out of the box, threw some oil in it, and started it right up. I love that I can run it on gas or propane, as there are times that gas is not available. This is a great generator with plenty of power for the necessities, without being too big to handle/maneuver.

This is the one I have been looking for. No electric starter is not a big deal since I still can pull once or twice to start it easily. Used mainly for my rv 15k ac when we Boondocks. Also good wattage for house hold power outages. Glad Sam’s club still make this item so affordable. Used on propane mainly for easy cleaning and lower noise. Just don’t want to add gas during the usage with hot engine. So propane will be my priority fuel for now. Start my RV ac right away. No soft starter needed. This one is not inverter type so you have to expect louder noises but still reasonable range. Nothing is perfect but this one is making it closer. Trusted brand of Westinghouse over couple decades and great customer service backup will give you a piece of mind. Your research could be ended if you want to have a easier way to make generator work for you no matter in what kind of situation.
