Just purchased and haven't needed to use it, but we have peace of mind in the event that we will have need to use the generator. I like the dual fuel feature as well as the ease of assembly and exploded views and schematics for troubleshooting and repair.

Recently moved to Houston, unfortunately Hurricane beryl left us without power for 5 days. This generator did amazing and lasted for 15 hours on 1 full tank of gas. During the hurricane everyone was using gas but we decided to use propane and it worked wonders.

I bought this item during a grid outage imposed by Edison in southern California. During high winds lasting for over 24 hours, some of the refrigerated items had soured. This item saved Christmas for my family with a halfway decent meal and not a total loss. The only regret I have is not getting this item sooner.

I bought this product a week ago. It arrived in great condition and solid construction. I highly recommend the wheel and handle kit. It make maneuvering the generator so much easier. I'm a 62 year old female and I am able to move it easily with the wheel kit. Operating instructions are easy to follow. This will come in handy to run the refrigerator and a portable ac unit the next time we are without power for days after a hurricane. The first time you have to replace all of the groceries in your refrigerator after a power outage, you realize that this investment is worth it. It will pay for itself.

I bought this generator after having an off-brand gen for 5 years. The 5300 with a peak watt 6500 is able to 5x15 and 1x30 sub panel breaker box with ease. I have had to use it twice in the past month, once for 5 days and then for ~36 hours due to storms in the Midwest. I am able to run basics like computers, televisions, furnace 2 refrigerators, deep freezer....as well as major wattage items like coffee maker, microwave, washer and dryer at same time. Past generators have tripped fuses if we dared trying to use 2 major appliance at same time.I haven't tried propane yet, but 4.7gal gas tank runs ~8 hours

Living in the South we were concerned about losing power due to storms. We were looking for a generator to power the refrigerator, freezer and maybe a fan. This fit the bill perfectly. We really like the fact that it is dual power so if there is a shortage of gas we are still able to run it. Hopefully we won't need it but it sure is nice to know that it is ready to go in the event of an emergency.

After getting my generator I stuck in in the corner still in the box to set up when I had time, Well, time ran out 3 months later when we lost power in a wind storm. Lucky for me I had some gas in the shed. It was dark, so I opened the box, put the wheels on and put the oil in the was included (thank you!). And Bam! started up with 1 pull. I let it run for 1 hour without a load as the instruction said. Plugged it into my box that was set for this and went in the house to finish watching the movie i was streaming. Very Happy!

Easy to follow instruction manual. All tools provided (except for 19mm wrench if you use propane). I bought this to power my RV in case I upgrade to a second A/C unit. Powers everything easily. Starts on first pull with little effort. If you live at high altitude like I do, it requires a high altitude kit which I didn’t know when I bought it but still works without it no problem.

The main reason I chose this generator was because it had the dual fuel feature. I am very pleased with my purchase. It started right up on the propane fuel. I got it for farm use but like the fact that I could use it for my house in case of an outage.

We’ve used this generator a couple of times now and it runs great. I was most impressed with how easy the pull start is! The very first time we started it, we added the gas and oil and expected it to take a few pulls to get going. Nope! It started on the first pull - easy as pie. Nice to have a generator that I can start by myself.
