Bought the 5300 watt dual fuel model a month ago and finally got to test it out. Assembly was straight forward. All tools needed for assembly were provided. 10w30 oil was provided; just the right amount. Very thoughtful that they provided a funnel to pour the oil. Following the instructions provided, I connected my propane tank to it. While most of the instructions were good, I wished there were more pictures to supplement the instructions. After starting the generator with about 4 pulls, it started. We plugged in a hair dryer to the 120V but it did not come on. Then I realized the generator was set to 240V. Once, I flipped it to 120V, the hair dryer came on as expected. Now, I wished the generator came set to 120V instead of 240V. Also, I wished the warning to turn off the generator before switching between 240V to 120V was shown earlier in the instructions. Overall, a decent dual fuel generator.

We purchased this generator in March and was one of the best things we have done. We live in rural Arkansas and there are always power outages due to weather in winter and summer. On Saturday June 17th we had a small tornado and high winds that took out power lines and trees. We were with out power till Tuesday evening. With the help of the generator we were able to run the freezer and fridge and small appliances. What a great relief and a much necessary item we purchased.

The size and the power are just two features I had been looking for! Not to mention the two types of fuel that can be used, and also the hidden handle in which I can easily move it! I bought it for emergency power outages and the way it is constructed-- I am sure to see many years of use! Thank you for such a great product!!!!!!!

Good machine and I'm happy with how it performs. Keeps two fans and a 5000k window unit running. Only used propane and was happy with the results. One issue that is somewhat irritating is cleaning the spark arrestor. The grill is too tight for a screwdriver to fit in the slot easily.

It looks nice. It's the right size. I can wheel it around to where I want. It's dual fuel so I'd rather use propane which is easy to get and to store. I googled quiet generators and this was rated near the top with only two others a few decibels less. We learned our lesson and always keep a generator after going 3 months without electricity post Hurricane Iniki.

The power went out at my home, which meant no water from the Well or power to my 3 Freezers. Who knew how long the power would be out due to an ice storm. This generator powered my Well and Freezers giving me peace of mind. I had water access and the meat in the freezers did not ruin.

We purchased this unit to replace an older generator. The WGen5300DFcv not only has the power we need to maintain the essential components in our household, the control panel is easy to understand and is user friendly. It was also nice to buy a generator that was ready to go out of the box with a lift handle and frame wheels. This unit will serve us well in the coming winter months during the expected power outages.

After a year of multiple power outages and ruined food, we decided to finally get a generator that could at least keep food cold. We chose this model because it was affordable and had excellent features for the price point. Once we got it home, we were impressed by the quality of the generator. It's solidly built, not flimsy at all, nor is it overly loud and obnoxious. Overall, we're happy that we won't have to worry about ruined food anymore, should we have any more power outages.

Generator seems great so far, we've only taken it for a "test drive" (haven't run at full load capacity yet). We really wanted the dual-fuel feature and one without an inverter, and this one checked all the boxes at a great price, especially for the capacity! Easy to set up, easy to start. It is loud but it's on par with what you'd expect for a generator this size. Seems well made and will hopefully prove easy to repair should anything go awry with it down the road.

Just received the generator yesterday so a bit early to review but it did arrive a few days earlier than expected.. Started it up twice to break it In before actually using it, starts up first strong pull (had my 11 year old try and pull start it it was a bit tough for him) but it does run smooth, a bit loud but not as loud as older generators use to be..
