This 5300 doesn't come with electric start. It started on the first pull after adding fuel and crankcase oil. Run absolutely dead smooth. Super well packed and in pristine condition right out of the box. Decent wheels. Much better wheels than come in the aftermarket kits.

I bought this generator due to Black Outs. I simply bought a tt30plug used a large cord I had from a RV and back fed the unit into my house panel flipped the main off shut off as many appliances as I could in the house (fans, lights, TVs) fired up the generator and it kept 2 refrigerators and deep freezer running works great.

Easy start, quieter than expected, handle system makes moving it easy, changing fuel source is simple with the dual fuel selector. Tested the generator through the electrical panel for the house. It easily ran all we need should we be without power again this winter. We’re ready.

I cannot provide a full review yet. The unit was damaged in shipping. The air box and choke lever were broken. I contacted Westinghouse and their support team were helping to fix the situation from minute one. I had to send in pics of the damage and the machines info and the replacement parts were being shipped to me. we bought 2 units and the other was just fine. The unit is smaller than other brands of the same and looks to be built very well. I cannot run it at this time so i cannot comment on that. I have watched and read many reviews on this same unit and was sold on this unit because of them. My only negative rating so far would be the packaging could be better. A lot of the reviews that I read also had suffered some kind of damage in shipping.. I believed its a chance worth taking. Service is hands down great, I hope there generator is the same. I will try to provide a full review once the unit is ready.

Shipping was perfect. Assembly took no time at all. I think this generator will be a great balance between work, a trailer generator and a home back-up generator via transfer switch. Instruction manual is easy to understand. I am glad to have dual fuel, and plan to use mostly propane because the maintenance seems to be easier than gas

Bought this for the inevitable power outage that gets us when least expected. Now that I have this generator at the ready, there has been no power outage in my area....but I am ready for when there is. After filling the oil,, it starts and runs easy enough, but that is all I have done so far.

I purchased the WGen3600DFcv generator last week and it arrived two days ahead of the originally scheduled arrival date. Filled the oil, added gas and it started easily on the second pull. Next, I tested the propane and it started on the second pull as well. Thus far, I have run it for about 1 hour to help seat the rings and break it in. When time allows, I will run it more to continue the break-in process before using it camping. Based on the 1 hour of run time, I'm happy with the purchase. I ordered it without the wheel kit only to realize it is heavier than I anticipated. Therefore, I ordered the wheel kit which I highly recommend. The generator seems to be of good quality for the price.

This is my second Westinghouse generator. My first is a bit smaller but an inverter. It produces Reliable energy every time. This duel fuel model is larger and a tad louder, but so far just as reliable when putting out energy in these constant California power shut downs. They are easy to operate and maintain. Highly recommended.

I've used this once during a power outage so far. It is powerful enough to run what I need it too during an outage and I like the duel fuel feature so I can run it off of a 100lbs propane tank. Very nice little generator for the price. Can certainly tell when my well pump kicks on, bogs it down momentarily with the high surge watts needed to power the pump.

Easy setup for first time generator owner. Nice user manual. Appears to be very well constructed. It was well packaged with all listed accessories. Compact design and will be relatively easy to roll in and out of storage awaiting our next hurricane and/or winter ice storm power outage.
