Although the box was a little bit up, the generator was fine added oil, added the gas, and the generator started on the second pole. That’s the type of quality I would expect to make the overall experience better. It would’ve been adding either a connector cable with some adapters, or some connector plugs to the outlet or the generator.

i bought this generator a week ago and when I tried to start it for the breaking in run, it started after the second pull of the cord. ran for the one hour with no problems. i used propane to test it and the only thing that concerns me is that during the entire hour there was a steady popping sound.

We bought this generator because we were expecting a very hard freeze and had an incubator full of chicken eggs almost ready to hatch as well as a deep freeze full of food. I just got this unit after having to leave my home for 2 days because of a snow storm, so I decided it was about time I bought a generator for the next storm and I espcially like the duel fuel capability. Out of the box and up and running on propane in less than 30 minutes. Tested with various appliances and performed perfectly. Propane option makes storage a lot easier, but being able to run on gas just-in-case is perfect. Heavy, but wheels make it easy to maneuver.

Bought this generator just before Hurricane Hillary hit our area in Los Angeles. Hillary did not hit as hard as expected in our area but having this generator gave us a piece of mind. Tried it to see how powerful it was and it worked great. With the earthquakes we have here it's a good thing to have just in case.

My wife purchased this for me last Christmas. I tested it and seemed ok. Placed in storage and when The hurricane came through and I needed it to at least to keep our food cold and run our lift pump for our septic, it wouldn’t stay running. I had new gas, the oil was clean, air filter looked good, even added octane boost and it was just running rough until it quit. Then I noticed it is leaking a little gas out of the bottom of the carburetor bowl. Now I’m throwing out all of our food and if the power doesn’t come on soon, will need to find a hotel as my septic will be full.
