I like this handy inkjet sublimation printer to a certain extent...meaning, the liquid ink seems to look dry on the print outs whether Sublimation or DTF prints. My printer does calibrate and runs the liquid ink through often with auto-maintenance (I like that) to keep the ink fresh before each use. I've had it for about a month now and still getting used to it. I wanted to purchase an actual DTF printer but they are super expensive. This SP-1 Sublimation Printer by Brother pretty much handles quick tshirt prints should I get an order for family or friends for birthday events, etc. I like it, just wish it wasn't so SLOW printing...

Love this printer and its reliability. Works great, printed materials come bright and beautiful. My only complaint (and it's purely cosmetic) is I would have preferred that it didn't have the color splashes on it. Plain would look better in my office.

It prints beautifully which rich colors that works great on any type of sublimation paper. I am in love with this shirt that I made. I love the old school look. Definitely a printer that I would recommend to any craft loving dyi’er.

This is a print friendly machine, I am a big fan of Brother, so this was an item I could not wait to own. It was designed to work through the Artspira app. which is very user friendly. I did do a print out, and compared it with an item done on one of the more expensive sublimation printers. I am impressed with Brother. Plus the savings on just buying the ink alone, gets a big yes. I would recommend this product, for anyone starting sublimation, and is a fan of Brother. Thank You Brother you did it again I also enjoy my Print Moda, and my new Skitch

My husband and I are so impressed with this brother printer so easy to set up ,no learning curve which is something we always look for when we buy any new equipment for our crafting side hustle would definitely recommend for sublimation printing for small business.

The Brother sublimation printer is amazing! My sister and I have given it a thorough workout over the last month creating designs to sublimate on mugs, earrings, coasters, tumblers, shirts, bags, wind spinners and so much more! We’ve crated designs for poly coated items, polyester blend fabrics, and printed on Siser Easysubli for cotton shirts and sweatshirts. Combined with my Brother ScanNCut 225x it’s been amazing. All of this has been done with the original ink cartridges that came with the printer, and they are still over half full.

This is my first sublimation printer, so I don’t have anything to compare it to. The printer is easy to set up and operate. I like that, as long as it stays plugged in, it doesn’t require any special maintenance to keep the nozzles from clogging. I wish it would accommodate legal size paper. I have not figured out how to check the ink levels yet, but honestly I have not put a lot of effort into it, so it’s probably something easy to do if you read up on it. The Artspire App is not very user friendly and does not offer many designs, so I don’t bother with it. All things considered, I am happy with it and would recommend it.

It came with all the essentials, paper, ink, very clear instructions and useful information for heat transfer to various types of blanks. I would recommend this to anyone that is not sure of whether they can learn to use it or not. I would definitely buy this again.
