[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank goodness I received this but I have to say that the designs don’t come out at all exactly how you wish they come out. It does better designs in lighter clothes and I love wearing darker clothes than lighter ones. Also, the paper and ink can only be purchased through their website and it’s not economically how you wish.

This is the best sublimation printer of its size. Needed a quick resolution for a craft fair where I was planning to offer coffee mugs. Vinyl wasn't cutting it, sublimation vinyl certainly wasn't cutting it. And this printer was just what i needed. Prints quickly, colors are fantastic, and refills on ink i can get locally. Plus the ink lasts a really long time. I've made 240 mugs on the ink that came with the printer and still have ink.

I have had my Brother SP1 sublimation printer for a year now. I LOVE it! It comes with full size ink, mirrors automatically, runs its own maintenance, it prints up to 8.5x14, and the colors look fabulous! Setup is really easy too. I did a lot of research before choosing this one, and I'm so glad I chose the Brother.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been making shirts for over 3 years, and currently had an epson. This Brother Sublimation Printer has exceeded my expectations. The Artspira program is easy to navigate, and the prints print clean. I love the size of this printer, as it doesn’t take up much space!

Easy to operate and prints sublimate nicely. The only concern I have is the ability to know that the machine is performing it's self-maintenance to prevent ink tubes from clogging. It would be nice to receive messages from the machine that the maintenance has, in fact, been performing and what the results are.

I found the get started guide easy to follow and very helpful. I was able to complete the setup in a very short period of time. I was able to do a test print from a Microsoft Word document with so much ease. The printer settings did not have to be adjusted at all. The colors were very vibrant, and I am happy with this purchase. I think the app is probably beneficial to some, but I personally do not like having to do creative things on a phone or having to download yet another app. My preference would be a desktop or online. version. Thankfully, I can still use the printer with the many desktop applications that I have. It appears that there is a scanner function, but I have not seen anything referencing it; I think it would be really cool to do a direct scan and print.

I was so excited to get the printer and was ready to see what I can create but since I have had it, it hasn't been fun or useful for now. First i couldn't get it to connect to my computer wireless so I had to go wired. The next problem was connecting my phone and tablet. My phone worked a few times then stopped working. My tablet(s) couldn't connect and no support (apps,online)

Perfect sublimation printer for hobbist. I started with an inkjet printer i converted. There were a lot of work arounds. Bought this printer & i am so happy with it!! I sublimate as gifts and a hobby and this works so well. Printing doesnt take hardly any time at all and there are no work arounds. The print quality is excellent as well. I havent accessed the editing tool that comes with it, as i use the cricut software, but it seems very user friendly. If you want to try sublimation, do it! Its easy & the quality is great!

This is my first sublimation printer. I decided on this one over any other ones bc it’s strictly for sublimation and you don’t have to convert anything. The printer is fast and the colors are vibrant and spot on. I love that it has the self cleaning as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this printer! I had a converted printer prior to this one and a printer made for sublimation is so much better. It was too cold for a few weeks to open the windows to heat up the sublimation prints but I love that I don't have to worry about the print heads clogging! The colors are so good after heating as well. Set-up is easy and I think that this printer has a decent cost for most anyone.
