The brother sublimation SP-1 printer is outstanding! I highly recommended it for sublimation artwork. It does 8 1/2 x 11 (full page of paper) and also can go up or down fro there! Amazing- I really love this printer it makes artwork pop. I’m so impressed with the color quality. And the most spectacular thing is that you don’t have to shake the ink. It automatically will print once a week a small test to make sure that all the ink doesn’t get clogged!!! Can’t tell you how much fun and easy this printer is to use!!! Well worth the money!!!

I have had this for a while, and everyone said to hit the ink every day to make sure it doesn't clog. Well now I have to buy an ink absorber because now I can't use it at all. I only used 3 times, and I loved it but that's expensive. So, it just sits till I get the money so somebody can do fix it for me.

I like this handy inkjet sublimation printer to a certain extent...meaning, the liquid ink seems to look dry on the print outs whether Sublimation or DTF prints. My printer does calibrate and runs the liquid ink through often with auto-maintenance (I like that) to keep the ink fresh before each use. I've had it for about a month now and still getting used to it. I wanted to purchase an actual DTF printer but they are super expensive. This SP-1 Sublimation Printer by Brother pretty much handles quick tshirt prints should I get an order for family or friends for birthday events, etc. I like it, just wish it wasn't so SLOW printing...

Once the printer was set up, it prints great and the quality of the sublimation is vivid and detailed. We use mostly for adding details to plushies before sewing them together and it comes out beautiful.

I love this printer. I do wish the prints were a little more vibrant, but overall I am very happy with it.

Easy and dependable to use. Colors are vibrant. I use my own graphics program to design items and not the Artspira ap. I think it stinks that you have to activate it online to use it. I like the self cleaning it does too as I don't use it as often as I should and I understand other printers have clogging issues. So far so good. The only issue I have is with the cost of ink.

Perfect sublimation printer for hobbist. I started with an inkjet printer i converted. There were a lot of work arounds. Bought this printer & i am so happy with it!! I sublimate as gifts and a hobby and this works so well. Printing doesnt take hardly any time at all and there are no work arounds. The print quality is excellent as well. I havent accessed the editing tool that comes with it, as i use the cricut software, but it seems very user friendly. If you want to try sublimation, do it! Its easy & the quality is great!

I have been in IT for over 30 years and have always used Brother printers. My wife wanted to get into sublimation printing for her business. In doing a deep dive some specific printers were available for a rather high price and many use ink jet tank printers with available sublimation ink. I always go to support forums to research products as opposed to consumer ratings. I saw several posts on how the ink jet printers if not used consistently clogged. Our use case would be occasional use. I found the SP-1 and ordered it based on it's self maintenance feature. We could not be more pleased. The cartridges last a long time and the colors are fantastic! The printer does auto feed 8.5 x 11 and single sheet feed of 8.5 x 14. I must admit that the occasional use has not been tested as we use this printer daily! If the page size fits your need I would not hesitate buying this printer!
