I have used these before for very small jobs.. they're fine for that! But as I prepare a family member's house to be sold, I learned quickly the Magic Eraser (even the "4X Stronger") has a very limited use-life before totally crumbling! Combine that fact with a large job, limited funds and only my own man power, I quickly learned to use only when necessary and as last resort! Any surface other than flat paint, I clean first with dry duster, then use soap/cleaner and water. Whatever that doesn't get, I use Clorox Cleanup and a scrub brush/sponge. Only when those fail can I afford to use the Magic Eraser. Flat paint is more difficult because depending on dirt/mark/stain, it's easy to scrub paint off. I try soap and water first and use sparingly. Magic Eraser crumbles even quicker on these walls. Sad fact I learned the hard way, it would have been cheaper, especially on trim and baseboards, to wipe them down and just repaint! This house was remodeled in the past 4 years with only 2 people living in it. They didn't have a dirty home so I'm shocked by the supplies I've had to use to clean properly! I'm hoping Mr. Clean will keep trying to get these to last longer! I'd certainly be more apt to use (and recommend) them if they can accomplish that!

I bought these three times over the last two years. At first, I thought maybe I was just getting a 'bad batch'. But, after three separate purchases, I won't be buying these again. The tear/rip almost immediately - even on smooth surfaces like an enamel sink, countertop, etc.

I love these things, although the package I bought recently doesn't have the fresh scent that provides not only the sparkling clean tub, tile, walls but leaves behind a fresh scent as well. I've been using them for over 10 years and hope they continue to make.the fresh scent.

Owning 3 dogs, 1 of which is a bloodhound, is terrible on walls. Bloodhound slobber gets flung everywhere and is like slug slime and can be very hard to remove. Magic Eraser makes me so happy every time I use it!!! It takes ALL the dirt and dried dog slobber off my walls and doors and never removes the paint. I use them constantly!;-)

We were so happy when our shiney black new appliances arrived a few weeks ago. We noticed it was hard to get the streaks off so I went searching for a solution. I tried a basic kitchen wipe which worked okay but I was set on trying the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser Sheets. Seeing the appliances on the box I thought this may be just the thing to work and they were so soft! THEY SCRATCHED MY BRAND NEW MICOWAVE!!! Then I read do not use on shiney dark, stainless steel or polished finishes. That is just about evey appliance out there! I think they appliances should be taken off the box. I know they work on walls. But not on my brand new microwave! Now I am on to finding a solution. Any ideas out there to buff out the scratches?

I've used these for years and LOVE them! The sheets are great for counter tops and stove tops. I use the sponges everywhere else. For tough cleaning jobs, I use the sponges with my favorite cleaner. It's killer on soap scum in the tub or shower, even glass shower doors! I wish the variety pack of 11 sponges would come back though.

The Magic Eraser is great when it comes to cleaning. No noticeable scent which I like and packaged nicely. I can use these almost anywhere around the house. I do feel as though they fall apart easily but that just depends on how rough you're being with them.

These 'erasers' don't last as long as a regular sponge does. However, they are WORKHORSES and I won't use anything else on the bathtubs or showers. They clean wonderfully without additional agents - even on soap scum in the tub. If you choose to use Comet, Lysol, etc., they work well together. After a thorough shower stall or tub cleaning, I can use the 'eraser' perhaps two or three more times and then it starts to lose its body shape. Wait! Did I tell you about cleaning the oven with them? Cut my cleaning time in half, I kid you not. It worked so well on the dried, old grease, and left the racks looking new. We have hard water out here, and the 'eraser' shines my crappy aluminum sink and the faucets too. They cost a little more than sponges, but absolutely worth it. You won't be disappointed.

Mr Clean Magic erasers are the bomb for cleaning bathroom surfaces such as showers and bathtubs. They take the grime off easily saving much elbow grease. They are also great to clean those stuck on residues in pots and pans. I could go on and on but you really need to tries these!

Just tried majic eraser and it didnt work. Very disappointing
