The sponge has two sides, one for scrubbing and one for wiping, making it versatile and effective. The scrubbing side is tough and durable, and easily removes grime and stains from dishes, pots, and pans. The sponge holds up well even with repeated use, and the scrubbing side doesn't scratch surfaces. The sponge is also easy to rinse clean and dries quickly. I have a small homestead complete with turkeys, ducks, chickens, and rabbits... which means a lot of 'mess'. I love these Heavy Duty sponges for cleaning all the watering jugs/bottles, feed dishes, and cages. I also like using them for my dog bowls and plastic kiddy pool. These sponges perform over and over and make the job easy!

I personally have used Scotch-Brite products ever since they first came out. I suppose I just liked the name because I AM of Scotch descent. But I HAVE continued using them ever since, and the reason is BECAUSE they do the job, and they do it WELL. You can use Scotch-Brite pads on almost everything. Of course if it's made of something much softer than the palm of my hand, I always test the surface first (on the underside). We use them regularly on dishes, pots and pans, floors, windows, and almost everything else around the house that you can't "Just get clean with only a cloth". We used to used those wire impregnated scrub pads before, but DO THEY LAST? The answer is NO! DO THEY SCRATCH? The answer is YES! Do they RUST? The answer is YES? Do they stick you sometimes with little metal splinters? The answer is YES! AND, how long DO they LAST? The answer is NOT LONG ENOUGH! Do you think I like Scotch-Brite Pads? The answer is YES!! NOW, can you tell that I DO LIKE SCOTCH-BRITE products? YOU BETCHA!

Scotch Brite blue scrub pads are perfect for daily uses. Use them for glassware, silverware, dishes, then our Teflon pots and pans and in that order. After its kitchen use it is used in the bath for cleaning. They wash well in a hot bleach for reuse and of course become a bit shriveled after the hot dryer to kill all bacteria. They do pick up some stray lint which is easily picked off. Once wet again it's good to go again. I avoid using the scrub side of the sponge for cleaning up melted cheese as it is more challenging to remove from the sponge. We buy these in bulk from the local box store.

I have used this sponge for many years and wouldn't change for any other. They last a long time and stay fresher smelling longer than the other brands. I use these in the kitchen and then in the bathroom so when I say they are durable...I mean it. Thank you Scotch-Brite for such an awesome product.

I use all of Scoth-Brite products. I loved them up until recently. I have a problem with them turning color and looking very dirty after one use. I tried cleaning them every way I know how to no avail. Can you help me. I would greatly appreciate it. P.S. They clean beautifully.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The scratchy side of the sponge works great on things like my sink, the bottoms of pans, and other things that won't let bits of food get stuck in the scrubby green mesh. I don't like food to get stuck, so I don't use it on pans that have food stuck to them, but that's just me. I like that it doesn't scratch my porcelain sink, or the bottoms of pans. Disclosure: I was sent this sponge in order to get my honest opinion about it.

In a home with 4 kids ages 11-15, our pots and pans get used ALOT! Unfortunately the oldest are still learning to cook and tend to burn everything! Scotch Brite's Heavy Duty scrub sponge has to come to my rescue more times than I can remember. Scotch Brite, without you I would have to buy new pots all the time. Thank you for coming up with this amazing product.

I have tried different sponges to see if they hold up to this one, and no way. I do not even try other's anymore. This sponge is my life and always buy around 5 at a time. I use them on the stove where there is always drippings, I use them to scrub the toilet, and even the bathtub. This sponge does a fantastic job with any cleaning I do. Please do not stop making these because you are my lifeline to being clean !

It's hard to find a sponge that's durable. I found one in the heavy duty scrub sponge. I have used the product and simply place in the dishwasher for cleaning. Then, it's good to go for the next cleaning. i use if on pots, pans, and hard to cclean dishes. It seems to last for months. I have 6 children, and that's a lot of dishes! Thank you for the product!
