[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always used these sponge's to wash my dishes, scrub my bathtub, and sometimes I use them to clean really tough rust on my tools. Scotch-Brite Heavy Duty Scrub Sponges are incredibly when it comes to having to scrub tough things and then I can flip it over and use the other side to make 1 last good cleaning. Definitely would recommend this product to everyone.

I share cooking duties with my lovely wife. I like to cook but am not too enamored wit clean ups. So, when I find a product that makes that chore easier, it makes me happy. The Heavy Duty Scrub Sponge is just such a product. I have no patience with utensils that just don't want to get clean and nice. This sponge works on the most brutish of the bunch, but works well with most everything else that I have messed up. Counter tops are a cinch, as the sink after I have made it all slick and ugly. In short, this product is just like my wife — I love it.

My husband thanks there is nothing like his heavy duty sponge. He uses it for everything he cleans. We have one in kitchen and he uses it all time. He even get mad if I get reed of it, went it looks so bad and smelly. We love the way it clean pan and live by it.

This heavy duty spong is perfect for things besides dishes . It can be gentle on one side so you don't scratch things , but tuff on the other side to get those hard things to clean . This sponge is not flimsy like other sponges , so it last a long time . Its well worth buying .

This is one of those products for which I believe there is no substitute. Nothing even comes close. I have a touch of arthritis and have found that I don't need to apply as much pressure as with some other brands to get the same results. An added bonus is that because they do a better job cleaning the caked and burnt on food I find that I can use less dish detergent. I would never buy another brand.

It is totally strong, and has held up through so many times I have done the dishes - it is incredible!!! 3M is a Reputable Brand Name - and another reason to trust and feel good about using their product.

As I was growing up I heard the phrase "Elbow Grease" a lot, mainly from my Grandmother! This was her way of determining the amount of effort I put into doing the cleaning chores that she assigned to me. In short, if you didn't bend your arm at the elbow and bear down with your arm muscles,(as opposed to using just wrist and hand), you were not cleaning something to the level she expected from you. Her two favorite jobs to assign me for "elbow grease" cleaning were the kitchen floor and the bathtub. Back then I didn't have access to durable, manageable scrubbers! AS I've gotten older and more arthritic, my "elbow grease" efforts at cleaning have fallen short at getting the dirty jobs as clean as I want them. That is why I almost always purchase Scotch Brite heavy duty sponges and also their scrub brushes. They do not require as much personal "elbow grease" from me but still enable me to get the clean results i expect for my efforts. I especially like the durability of the heavy duty sponges. They last a LOT longer than other brands and provide an easier method of both scrubbing and absorbing any cleaning liquids, without a lot of Elbow Grease. These sponges, as well as the scrub brushes, are easier for my arthritic hands to maintain good cleaning pressure and also to have a better grip on them than many other brands. They are my own special old-age "Elbow Grease"!

It is the best scrubber non scratcher that I have ever experienced. It is reliable, lasts a goodly while before tossing and is effective for the purposes for which I use it on MOSt, not all ocassions.I like the fact that i can scrub and sponge till i feel the item being cleaned looks reasonably clean again.

I have recently brought a scotch-brite heavy duty sponge. It worked great. They were alot better than other brands and way more durable. It lasted about 1 1/2 -2 months.It's harder than most sponges and already moisturized. So yea, I love this product!

I love the sponges to do those heavy type clean ups. Try and keep a extra one on hand at all times. There great cleaning a bad spont on the stove around the eyes/oven/out doors on the grill/water bucket for out door animals. So there great for those heavy soiled jobs.
